Good morning, i hope you all have wonderful weekend plans. My morning has been spent washing sheets and now towels, yes that makes two loads in our baby washer, then we went to the pawn shop and bought a fan. The sky has turned cloudy so we finally bought a drying rack. I am hoping the sheets dry before the rain comes but couldn't risk the towels drying outside. Never mind the rain has started. Debbie

Hi,
Thanks for starting us, Debbie. I hope the rain was just a sprinkle so that your sheets get dry. I guess the towels are hanging on the drying rack, and bonus that you have a fan you could point at them if needed. Although, I think you bought the fan to keep yourselves more comfortable, right? You are so right that the humidity ratchets up the heat index.
Today is a slow moving day for me. I went home early from work yesterday due to an upset stomach and feeling absolutely miserable. Luckily I made it home before succumbing and then slept for 3+ hours. DH brought some Sprite, which helped. I went back to bed for awhile and felt well enough a couple of hours later to finish the Sprite and have saltines and chicken noodle soup. I went back to bed for the night around 8. Yesterday broke a long streak of making my 10k steps every day. It may be tomorrow before I start a new streak. I should be back to FP status tomorrow.
Waving hi to Brenda, Lou, Vicki and Lori and hoping that you all are having a great weekend.
Later, Ginia

Happy Sunday morning, Vicki - yes, we do have a/c but it hasn't been warm enough yet to have to use it. I figured a fan would still be necessary and there was one at the pawn shop that was very inexpensive so we got. It really helped getting the clothes dry yesterday too.
There was an impressive thunder storm last night, the noise woke me and the lighting flashes seemed to go through the entire flat. It is still cloudy but since it wasn't raining we got in a short walk. CBL Debbie

Virginia I hope that ypu are feeling better today.
I'm out for my Sunday morning walk and it is cold (60Β°), windy and drizzling on and off. I think I'll make it a shorter one today. I don't want to get caught in a heavy downpour and it is too windy for an umbrella. And yes, I still live with bats and the pest control companies can't find the entry points.

Hi, Vicki - great job getting in some steps out in the weather. I don't think pest control company employees have a high education. Best wishes to getting everything resolved.
My steps are good. The sun came out and I had a lovely walk in the garden close to our flat. Debbie

Happy Sunday,
Thanks for the Sunday start, Debbie. I wondered the same thing that Vicki asked...I was thinking that you likely did have a/c but wasn't entirely sure. Yes, DH made sure I was taken care of. Mostly what I needed was to sleep, which helped the nausea and yucky feeling pass. I'm glad that your weather got nicer so that you could get outdoors.
Hi Vicki, it is cooler here today but not as cool as at your place. 60 and rainy? Wow. The high here was in the lower 80s with humidity <40% and it was sunny with a nice breeze. I certainly hope the pest control people can figure out the bats' entry point, good grief, how frustrating. Great job getting those steps in despite the wind and rain.
I met BWF for a 6 mile walk on the local greenway, then we went out to breakfast. I'm glad to be back on track with my steps after the past two days. I stopped by to visit DS for awhile before heading home to finish laundry and wash the car. I will make my grocery run on the way home after PT w/o tomorrow evening. The weather for the next few days is supposed to remain nice.
Waving hi to Brenda, Lou and Lori...hoping you are all having a good weekend.
Take care, Ginia
