Cold, rainy, dark and dreary outside today. My fading feline that never rested in a flop on my lap is doing so today - hubby is checking with vet on what to do if she is ready to be put down  Cherry: I hope you enjoyed time with your grandson if he came. I like your idea of the timer going off hourly - might try it in the future. Did you get the soap made? Beverly: I know you had fun at the program your grandson was in and bet those sausage balls were gobbled up with no leftovers to take back home with you. Lynn: So nice to have interesting people to talk to at a dinner - glad you had them with you to talk to. You are one busy woman with all you have to do this holiday season! Enjoy the weekend away. Pam: I think I have only seen the first three Star Wars movies - I hope you enjoyed the one you saw an were able to sleep in in the morning. |

Good morning. My grandson did not come. He did text me later and tell me he wasn't feeling all that good. I did not get the soap made. It is on my schedule this morning and I will get it done. I did get in a little over 30 minutes of exercise in 3 different sessions. Today I will do the soap and get in exercise.
It's cold this morning, a -6, and the weekend sounds icky. Tonight and tomorrow night it's supposed to get down to 20 below with the highs during the day below zero, Wind chill will make it feel like 30 to 40 below. But Monday the high will be around 30, and that is above zero. It will be like that for several days next week. I'm happy for that because I have a couple of appointments in town next week.

We loved the movie. Now to get things ready before weather gets cold tomorrow. I have a plan and we can do this. Have a great day and keep smiling beaches.

Cold here today, nothing like the weather that you have Cherry!! You are very hardy!!!!
We are going into Nashville tonight to view the Xmas lights at the Opryland Hotel. It is a gorgeous display. It is a family outing that we do every year. We all cram into my DDIL's van, go see the lights & then go out to dinner. It has got to be an annual tradition in our family.
I made the sausage balls for my DGS's Xmas party, my son, DIL & grandson came by to pick them up this morning, I made scrambled eggs & coffee, they all had samples of the sausage balls & said they were good. The main of them went to the party. I hope they were a hit with the kids. I was good & only had my instant grits & a banana. Right now I am starving!! Thank goodness the sausage balls are all out of the house, or I would probably give into the temptation.

Hi all...we made it up to Newport, with a stop at Walmart, and are hunkered in for the snow we are expecting..2 to 4 inches turning to rain tomorrow morning. I hope to get out tomorrow to get my hair cut and do a little bit more shopping.
