The Mind☯Body☯Spirit connection emphasis is creating balance, wholeness, and coherence in our lives. It acknowledges that how we think, what we feel, and what we believe create the life we live and the world around us.
Let's get started! We'll post:

Good Afternoon, my dear Angels.
After an anxiety-filled week, I have relief. I know I've mentioned I am anxiety-prone, especially when it comes to aspects of my health. There are some areas I had neglected for a long time. But, now, I have been poked, prodded, and squished with all the recommended tests. I am happy to report my body parts have been declared healthy. After I got off the phone with the nurse with my PAP tests results, I just cried (in relief).
Now, I feel like I can move on. Ever since the IBS started in early September, I've been spiraling upward and downward. I am curious to see how the IBS behaves (if thats really was it is) now that the anxiety is gone.
Pat: Yesterday you said "I'm getting a hunch that I can reduce cravings by adding more good carbs. This new SP plan has me being carb phobic." I had the same phobia. Its one of the few things I didn't agree with on the WW plan. Not all carbs are bad. The fact that the WW plan treated white rice the same as a good-quality brown rice made no sense. BTW, if you're looking for a good quality bread, one brand is "ezekiel". I can get it at Wegmans in the organic section (in the frozen foods case).
I hope everyone is well and no one is in the path of the snow. Carol, I'm not sure what region you live in. We won't be getting the 3 FEET forecast for Northern NY. Thank goodness.
Daily Affirmation: "I might just make it after all" (from MTM theme song)
Fitness report: an hour or so at the gym this afternoon to burn off some anxious energy.
Health Goal: Love my body and take care of it.
Gratitude: Be grateful for all my body does for me.
Namaste. Suzanne

Good Afternoon, Dear Ones!
Suzanne - Hooray for reassuring test results. And I am in the Rochester area....love my Wegmans....and also glad we're not getting 3 ft of you know what.
Pat - Yay for PT progress! And thanks, my avatar photo was taken 2-3 years ago, when we were able to ride our bikes in January due to warm weather (and dry trails!). I could have done it this year, but just haven't worked up the enthusiasm for it. I mostly just ride the Expresso bike, indoors, this time of year:)
Daily Affirmation - I can do anything for 15 minutes
Fitness report - Tap dancing this a.m. It's a stretch compared to the beginner class, but it's good for me to be a little challenged to improve. Oh, and we have been warming up to tunes from George Michael and dancing to tunes from "Singing in the Rain", in honor of Debbie Reynolds. A nice way to remember those folks.
Health Goal - moderation and lots of water
Gratitude - for a "good enough" body
Be well! Carol

Bravo Suzanne on your bill of health report. Those tests on parts we cannot see are nerve wracking. I wish you continued answers with your IBS, now. I did not realize a snow storm was moving in, I sort of turned the TV off and haven't been on FB much at all lately.
Carol I like your affirmation that you can do anything for 15 minutes - I'm going to steal that one!
I tried something with dinner last night that could be good or could be a disaster. I like to make something every week with a pound of ground turkey, either a chili or stir fry or burgers. Last night we wanted pasta with meat sauce so I got that started then realized there was only one can of diced tomatoes. With all the yellow peppers and zucchini it needed more moisture. I poked around and came upon a can of pumpkin puree and thought, why not? Added a bit of cinnamon and paprika and cayenne, too. Wow, it's delish! I brought some to work minus the pasta and put spinach in the hot turkey and pumpkin and veggies and had to share the idea.
