Good morning, Vicki - they think maybe, that's reassuring. My question is, if they put in a pipe for the bats to get out, can they then bring in their friends and other creatures.
Today started with a walk on the beach, thus the cheery mood. We leave this beautiful city today at 17:00 and return to Valencia. CBL Debbie

Good morning.
Have fun today, Debbie!
To tag on to the bat thing. I get the one way door thing, but wouldn't the bats "see" the door and interpret that as something closed off?
I get my contacts and glasses at Sam's Club every other year. Well, the glasses only when I really need them since I only wear them at night to read after my bedtime routine. I think this pair is 4 years old.

Hi,
Happy Friday, it is sunny, hot and humid here. Today will be fairly nice and summery.
Thanks for starting us, Debbie. Nice start to your day for sure with a walk on the beach. Yes, I got green frames. They are not a bold green but a nice hint of color. I probably tried on 50 different frames and narrowed the choices down to 4. The optician assisting me took pictures of me with each of those on my cell phone and I did a poll via text message. The ones I was leaning most heavily toward were the green ones and they were the majority choice.
Hi Lou, I think my current glasses are 5 years old, so I was definitely due for a new pair. I'm like you, I only use my glasses in the evening but I have to have a good backup. I faithfully get my eye exam every other year but I don't get my contacts or glasses that often. I have RGP lenses and they last for years. My correction level is so high with my glasses that I don't know if I could go somewhere else and get a better deal or not.
Hi Vicki, I hope that the pest control people have the bat situation addressed. I certainly wish that they could definitely determine the entry point. What a situation to have to live with and deal with! Any idea how long you have to do without your dryer?
Today was WW meeting first thing. I had a text message waiting for me when I got up. The daughter of one of my walking friends had texted the group. The walking friend was playing pickleball and had an accident. She has broken both wrists and her back is broken in two places. She's in the hospital and awaiting the neurosurgeon to learn how long she will be hospitalized and how her treatment will move forward. I am in hopes that one of the group will visit and learn more. I don't think she needs a lot of visitors at this point. I don't have plans for formal FP today but I will get my 10K steps in.
Waving hi to Brenda and Lori, hope you are doing well.
Take care, Ginia

Debbie The tunnel is a heavy mesh about 6 inches long with a circumference of about 1.5 inches (a ltitle bigger than a quarter ) . He cut spikes in the tunnel that would rip the body of anything trying to enter. I wish I felt more confident about this as an entry point, but ....... Interesting though he said this time of year they average 5 bat exclusions a week. The pictures you post are wonderful. I really enjoy seeing Spain through your eyes.

Louis I don't think the bats are able to tell the tunnel is only one way. I think they are more interested in getting out to drink. The technician said that I am not dealing with a colony of bats, only one or two. If there were more the entry point would be odveous. He would see dropping and urine stains. Do you like BJs glasses? I no longer have glass coverage and may use Costco or BJs for my next pair.

Ginia I am sorry to hear about your friend. Wow, she did a lot of damage! Did she fall backwards? I'll be without the dryer for less than a week. They feel the bat or bats will find their way out by then. Of course, there is no way to tell.

Hi, Louis - I used o get my glasses right at the optometrist office but switched to Sam's a few years ago. The prices were so low I was able to get titanium frames. Vicki. - thank you, we are having so much fun exploring. I hope the critters leave quickly. So will you be joining me at the clothes line? Virginia - Our vision insurance paid for checks every year, new glasses every other year and new lenses in between. I love new glasses and got every pair I could. Green, I can imagine how great they look on you.
We are back home Travel by train is very relaxing and entertaining thanks to the 6 very drunk young men from England. Debbie
