Good morning
Louis Sorry about the dog mix up.
Not much new to report. I survived my 14 mile umbrella walk. Not sure about bats. Pool filter still not working correctly. Retirement hasn't been much fun so far. Maybe if it stops raining I'll feel happier.

Hi,
Thanks for starting us, Lou. Well, that is a bummer about the dogs being a no-show. Yes, if I am already out and it starts raining, I just get wet. If I am out to purposely walk and the rain is present at the start a poncho is my go-to. Thanks for the good words about my friend. So, was the shopping trip successful or just a unicorn hunt?
Hi Vicki, your retirement certainly has been full of challenges thus far. Here's hoping the pool filter is repaired soon and that the bats have made their exit. 14 miles with an umbrella sounds like much less fun than a walk with no umbrella. Congrats to you for getting it done.
Hi Brenda, I hope your rain clears off soon.
Today is work and P/T w/o after work. It seems that I cannot find every grocery item at one store, so the stuff that I didn't get yesterday will be picked up today after P/T w/o. We had some strong storms yesterday and more potential for some today. Probably contacting my doctor, I have had an issue with my right thumb being painful, stiff and hard to bend for the past couple of weeks. It's no emergency for sure but it's gone on long enough.
Waving hi to Debbie and Lori, hope you are both doing well.
Take care, Ginia

Hello, Louis - that is so sad that the dogs didn't show, I know you were as sad as them. Can it be rescheduled? Vicki - your retirement hasn't been a barrel of monkeys so far. Mine started out with the remodeling and all the paperwork for the visa which wasn't fun but it is now great. So hang in there and maybe book a vacation I hear Valencia is a relaxing placeπ Great job on going 14 miles with an umbrella. Virginia - healing vibes for your thumb. We grocery shop so often now, we love having fresh food all the time. I hope you find everything you need. I have been getting a craving for homemade chocolate chip cookies but gelato is ready now so it wins. Have a great workout.
Today started with body pump and body flow. Body flow is challenging since it is a lot of yoga moves so I can't see the instructor all the time. We had a friend over for dinner last night, we made mussels, tomato salad and veggie tray. It was such a nice evening. Ted and I walked a longs ways to a store she told us about to buy posters for the walls. We found some, not what I was wanting but they will breakup the white. I am really starting to enjoy the turkey lettuce rolls for lunch. I'm Debbie, 63, married 32 years, retired and living in Spain.

Hi, We have now been here 3 months and I still think Bond, James Bond every time I hear a police car or ambulance. Debbie
