Good morning.
I'm pretty picky about what goes on my walls since I stopped hanging black light posters and hubcaps on it. Probably why Cecilia keeps saying it looks like we never moved in.
14 miles carrying anything is an impressive feat, Vicki. With an umbrella, my elbow would be killing me.
We get most everything we use regularly at Jewel and supplement with near-daily stops at Whole Foods because it's so close to the house. It's like having an expensive 20,000 square foot pantry next door.
How's the thumb, Virginia?
I'm up at 430 tomorrow for my flight to Charleston. This. Is. Going. To. Suck.

Good morning,
Thanks for starting us, Lou. Nice that you have a Whole Foods so close. I haven't even been in one. <wah> There is a regional chain grocery store about two blocks from work, so it's easy to stop by there for any incidentals. It's a nice store but doesn't carry my favorite steam-in-bag veggie variety. I end up at Walmart for those, as no one else around has them. Thank you for asking about the thumb, it is still a pain. Ugh on the super early flight tomorrow, good news is that you have less likelihood of delays with an early departure.
Hi Debbie, thanks for the healing vibes on the thumb. Chocolate chip cookies...love 'em. I haven't made any for awhile. Gelato reminds me of our Vegas trip. Nice that you got some wall art. We are rather with Lou, we have very little hanging on our walls. I am so not a decorator. LOL re: the klaxon sound cuing James Bond for you. BTW, I heard that the very first Bond girl passed away recently. She was 90. Yes, you had some bumps in the road with getting to Spain but as always your persistence paid off.
The P/T w/o didn't happen, he texted that he was not feeling well. Hopefully we can reschedule for another day, but I am not hopeful. He usually has little flexibility. My gear is still sitting in a corner of my office just in case. I did a short walk at lunch so got my steps in but no real FP. I messaged my doctor through the patient portal yesterday and was advised to make an appointment about my thumb. That was pretty much the response I expected. So the fun of trying to fit an appointment in with my work calendar will begin once I call the office. It might be interesting as I am going to be covering for my manager again. We have had a lot of loss on my team lately. One girl lost her DB a couple of weeks ago. Another lost her DF last week, funeral is today. My manager lost her DF and is going to be out the rest of the week. She just came back from a three week medical leave, so she's been out a lot lately for not so fun things. Lots of virtual hugs have been sent and many thoughts and prayers to each of these co-workers.
Waving hi to Brenda, Vicki and Lori and hoping you are all well.
Later,Ginia

Hi, Louis - thanks for the start. That is a really early flight and not long enough to get any real sleep. Happy napping tomorrow. Virginia - I hope your PT is feeling better soon. The thumb pain doesn't sound good I hope you can get an appointment soon. How sad for all those coworkers.
DH and rode our bikes to the beach, walked on the beach. I am heading out for a haircut, l am going very short. CBL, Debbie

Hi, My hair is super short! It feels great in the warm weather. On the warm air note, the a/c is not fixed, the owners have not even given us a time frame. Luckily we are are the top floor, get a nice breeze so it is only 26C or 78.8 F. I am so happy we have a fan. The bike ride this morning was a good adventure, my bike felt like it had lead boots so I was doing my , I hate this bike and want my nice road bike song in my head. We stopped because I couldn't get it to shift either and Ted offered to switch bikes with me. He got on and we realized both tires were flat. So we had to leave the Turia and find air for the tires. Ted continued on my bike and I found that I love his bike, it is so much easier to ride and they are both the same bike. He likes mine better and it always shifts for him. So he is stuck riding the pretty bike. So the rest of the ride to the beach and back was great. We went for a long walk on the beach and even got in the water. I hope everyone else has a happy ending to their day. Debbie
