Winter is here!! We have 52 days till Spring March 20, 2017. This is time enough to start to develop new goals and approaches for goals with exercise and healthy eating. Whether gym at home or outside we can exercise and see the benefits by Spring. Tracking our healthy eating helps us lose weight.
WELCOME EVERYONE anytime and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycling, spinning, swimming, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, pilates, strength train and core work too!
Each week you Can set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday thru Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-ins (WI). WIs are encouraged but optional. There is no judgement here!
This challenge runs from January 1 to March 20.

Challenges this week:
Sun -go the extra mile!
Mon -OP day
Tues -work those arms!
Wed -journal it
Thurs -at least 6 servings water
Fri -at least 5 servings fruits&veggies
Sat -work those abs

GOOD MORNING. Second day doing treadmill for 2 or 3 miles. I have walked 1 mile in 2 segments at 2.4 mph. I go to WW today with Russs niece first time this week. I am sure I gained. But Friday started over.

Amy, congrats on the new TM and for breaking it in already!
I'm leaving shortly for the gym for spinning and weight lifting! Then I need to shower, go to BJs, and meet friends for lunch! I'm down almost 3 pounds and am determined to keep the trend going! I was dreaming about wearing my old favorite clothes again, weird, but hopefully that shows my head really is in the game!
I had a milestone -I was walking around the house yesterday afternoon and realized I wasn't thinking about my foot! That bone stimulator is really working! I'm hopeful that I'll be walking by the summer after all, maybe even jogging a few minutes!

Debbie wow what a nice loss!! Good for you. Enjoy the gym today. That's great the bone stimulator is working so well for you. Where did you get your new toy from?
Mo how are you doing?
I downloaded a free book on my kindle called "The Dash Diet for Beginners" It seems to be similar to what WW recommends. But it is interesting (to me anyway) to read what your body requires (such as water and why) and other information too. I have been horrible at getting my veggies in. Doing better with fruit, but even that has been lacking. So going to work on those things.
Did not meet my 10K yesterday. My foot was hurting and I don't want to make it worse.

Hi I did 3,1 miles in 5 segments My fitbit says 5 miles and 12,000 steps. 78 minutes at 2.4mph. Eating 41 points now and just under 2,000 calories a day.
