thyme2 WOW, you go girl! Let me just say that finding the right leader makes ALL the difference, IMO, so I am thrilled for you. There is a huge difference in the online and meeting community, which is one of the reasons I think I always struggled with meetings even after I became staff, but I think if I was still in Buffalo with my fantastic leader, I'd still be sitting there....you will find your way because there is no one way for sure! borntexan your new avatar rocks!

thyme2 Beth, your new meeting sounds a lot like mine. About half of my meeting group tracks on the computer/phone and the other half use paper/pencil. Absolutely none of them go to these or the old message boards and I've tried to get them interested in them. Even the leaders I've spoken with have never looked at the message boards. Sad, in a way. But, I'm glad you enjoyed the meeting. Keep going and you'll get some little gem of inspiration at each one. DebDoesWW I taught the grand kids your new recipe with the cool whip/peanut butter/choc. sauce and they loved them! Ha, ha! They are so good!

Good morning all.
Second load of laundry in and I just realized I am starving...growling stomach is a definite indicator 🍴Just wrote out a bunch of checks to,pay bills-still old fashioned that way-only to discover I have no stamps. I had at least 5 opportunities to buy stamps this week. Nothing much planned this weekend. I'm actually boring myself reading this post so bye for now 🙄

*squeeeeee* how cool Beth!!! I know it seems corny but the right meeting/leader can absolutely make all the difference like ksbruns mentioned. We joke here all the time about "fishy stickers" but dang it we work hard for that bling. There is just something for ME that being accountable to my monthly meeting keeps me in the game. Everyone has so much going on and it seems like keeping up with weight loss (and taking care of ourselves) is always last on the list. The accountability to the WW scale truly makes all the difference, for ME, long term, when long ago people stopped commenting and the making goal party is done and the confetti has been cleaned up. I keep emphasizing "for ME" because there are all you rock stars on here that have done it online only!!

Deb, who knows if I will ever stay for meetings again, but there is no question that *getting my voucher* is a very big deal for me. They introduced that program when I was staff, contemplating quitting, and I knew that it would make it okay...no question the staff WI kept me on the straight and narrow those first few years. I definitely liked bling, am sad to only get my lifetime key each year now! My keychain still sits in plain sight, and I still have my magnets (I loved those!) on the fridge with my bravo bookmark. Silly girl!

Checking in from rehab. I'm spending time this morning and then having lunch then home to meet sis and move holiday boxes to the basement. Oh yes, and get the tree out. Dh and dds to do list will now get done.
Walking halls and eating mindfully are definitely on tap for today. The talk of roses reminds me of my grandfather's rose bushes! They were always beautiful. Thanks for the great memories this morning. Have a great day everyone.

MJ,I hope your WI went well and that you are enjoying your day.
pbnj,Great minds must think alike. We both have chocolate avatars today.
Kathy,I'm glad your injections went so well.I'm hoping the same for mine. You cut down 2 points and I increased mine by 2.Maybe we can meet in the middle.
DebDoesWW,To prove I'm not a quitter I bought some Girl Scout peanut butter patties today.I haven't tried them but one of the moms said they had the lowest carbs.LOL.I guess she could see me looking at the NI on a couple of them. The girls were so sweet.I told them I was a GS when I was their age and their eyes got real big and said "You were?"They were probably thinking they didn't know GS were around that long ago but as I said they were so sweet and they hugged me and said thank you so much.
Beth,I'm glad you enjoyed the meeting.I'm jealous now.I wish I could go to meetings and get free e-tools.I saw the special for online has been going on too.
Kathy,I saw that avatar online and thought it was funny and perfect.Chocolate is a vegetable after all and I can always use more veggies.
I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

I'm checking in late to balance out diva49 !
linda72 , Mary Tyle Moore; cartoon! You're definitely gong to win a retro award!
susiq25679 , I wonder if those sensor alarms EVER decide they need a battery in broad daylight when we are already awake!
ksbruns , glad to hear your leg is feeling fine today Kathy.
thyme2 , great news that you went to a meeting and loved it, and that the group and leader were interesting. The people dynamics are what makes or breaks a meeting.
One of my meeting friends who fell by the wayside for a short while got in on the $89 3-month special. The commitment will be good for her; she was having a rough time preparing for her daughter's wedding and dreading the loss of her daughter who was moving across the country after the wedding.
I got a relatively early start and headed up to San Francisco. Instead of my usual foray into downtown and the Embarcardo areas, I decided to head to Ghirardelli Square and Fisherman's Wharf.
I nabbed a street charger at city hall for my electric car--free parking with my disabled pacard and free electricity...can't beat that.
Then I hopped a bus to the waterfront.
I got a lot of walking in--Apple Watch reported over 8.5 K steps by the time I got home.
Lunch was a Filet-O-Fish sandwich at Mcdonald's (after all, I WAS at the wharf!).
I bought some milk chocolate discs at Ghirardelli for my friend who lives across the street and has been down with viruses for several weeks; they are a real passion of his. Delivered them when I got home. Managed not to sample any--NSV!
Just finished dinner (Chicken Teriyaki, Splenda brown sugar glazed carrots, mashed potatoes, milk), and am now done for the day.
Oh--while veggies were cooking I made quick Cookies and Cream Oatmeal for Sunday's and Monday's breakfasts. I tastes pretty much like the one WW used to sell but is way cheaper to make.
Tomorrow will probably be an at home day picking up around the house. If my new cooktop and Advantium oven arrives next week I need to be ready for installation. I have a wide two-shelf cabinet below the cooktop with all my cookware, and it is finally time to remove all the cookware that is not induction compatible and pass it on to Goodwill so someone else can enjoy it. That will give me some much need pot/pan storage space.
Snack trick: I've been talking with a WW friend about low carb because she found a bread she loves that's very low in carbs. In the process I rediscovered corn thins. A corn thin spread with 1 tsp. of peanut butter makes a satisfying snack; a tsp. of sugar-free preserves on it would make it a decadent snack.

zazzles I noticed the Sundance channel changed their plans for Mary Tyler Moore shows yesterday. They cancelled those and instead offered 19 of her shows all day today. My DVR recorded all of them so I will be set for quite awhile with those. DH just groaned when he saw those on our saved lists. "are we going to watch all of those now?" he asked. I will watch them alone and space them out over the next few weeks. Should last me a long time! Glad you enjoyed your trip into SF today. I love that town. So many fun things to do and you got in a lot of steps on top of it. Good job!

As for your DH—perhaps separate DVRs are the modern-day equivalent to separate beds!
