* Statue of Liberty Cries

Good morning!
We have sunshine!!!! Yay!!! It's been so long since we've seen the sun that it really looks good even if the temperature is cold.
Pam, I am sure the Statue of Liberty is crying. How very sad that this nation of immigrants is now heading down such a path. I read an article this morning saying that several Jewish organizations are also very upset and offended that not only is he turning away refugees, but that he signed this order on the day of Holocaust Remembrance.
Tweety is taking us down a very long and slippery slope. I just hope and pray that we can come back from it.

Sunshine here too, but very WINDY! If you see me flying by on my broom, grab & park me on any available bench.
Looks like Tweety's ban on Muslims has the s **t hitting the fan in a big way already. Wonder how GOP Congress is going to deal with all this. Of course, he dumped all this on the airlines companies & employees. When one airline employee responded to a passenger asking why they were being detained, his response was " call Trump"... Didn't even call him President Trump. Can only imagine how this is going to play out with the airlines & their employees. They are on the front lines dealing with this & it was totally dumped in their laps.....now countries are starting to ban US Citizens...oh, my...what an idiot sitting in the Oval Office!

Bet the Native Americans wish they had put a BAN on refugees back in 1620.
OK- Ready to put Gilbert and Sullivan on the Victrola and take a news break.

The Victrola! Oh, I love it. Enjoy, Anne. BTW, did you know that dog really is listening to his master's voice? I believe the ad guy was caring for a friends dog when he was asked to create an ad for Victrola to appear in magazines. He recorded the owners voice and the rest is history. One more thing. There's a ad out there with a black and white cat doing the same thing. Not sure why I remember these things but I do. I want to thank all of you for your Good Thoughts and Healing Wishes. I'm much better but not back to my self yet. This was a tough one. Taking a long time to bounce back. I hope all of you are well! Thanks again. PS...I can NOT see the orange-oaf in the same place as TJ, Lincoln, FDR, Ike, etc. I see him in the same place as Hitler, Kim Jong-Un and Putin. He's nothing but a loud mouth bully. As dangerous as the men he admires. I want to believe America can weather this storm but so many people I know are feeling so low, so depressed, so hopeless it terrifies me. I never thought this is something I'd see happen in my country. Never!

Hi Anne! Yes, I have. I usually start to feel better after a few days. Not this time. Ugh. I have to sleep in my recliner because if I lie down on the bed my nose and chest serenade me all night long. I take extra C and Airborne too. Of course dark cloudy days don't help much either. Mentally and climate wise. kwim?
Linda, it will probably be the same for me. It never takes this long. Oh, I'm very good at pampering my self. lol.

Should I circle the room 3 times and spit on the floor after applying the Vicks? lol. Okay, here goes...
Done. No spitting just Vicks. I couldn't even smell it! I must be stuffed. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for the tip. You gals are the best. I have to rest now. Take care.

Feel better very soon Pat! I don't know about the Vicks on the feet, but growing up I've gone to bed thousands of times with Vicks on my chest and a warm, flannel cloth on top of that. After 67 years I'm still kicking, so it must work! Got a new computer, but think I will wait until tomorrow to get it set up and going. This one is just getting too wonky to enjoy using.

Joyce, I remember trying not to stick to my jammies with globs of Vicks on my chest when I was a kid. Even today I'm not crazy about sticky things. But I did put the Vicks on bottom of feet. It's not that old time stick and cling feeling. It was like putting hand cream on. Felt kind of good. Didn't even smell! Lol.

It is an old time cold remedy.
BTW Have you been to the Doctor to make sure it is not something worse like pneumonia?
