From the link Pat/pbnj posted: "Our reputation around the world has just been sullied and we are going to pay a price in blood for it."
I'm very concerned that Foster is absolutely right in his statement, and it is terrifying. Republican leadership has simply got to step up to the plate and DO something before he destroys us all. It doesn't matter how many times Tweety's WH says this is not a Muslim ban, the entire world knows that it is exactly that and a ban imposed haphazardly with little if any thought to consequences. I am very afraid, and completely ashamed of the actions taken by this administration.

Am I just being petty, or does anyone besides me think it looks absolutely ridiculous when every time Tweety signs something in front of the media he holds it up for show-and-tell like reading a book to a kindergarten class? Really, that just bugs me but maybe I am the only one.

Oh, Joyce, you are not the only one. Trump said he wanted to unite the country. I think is uniting it against him. The rest of the world is feeling the same say. Except for Russia.
We must not keep silent. We must speak out loudly and often when Trump does these terrible things. There are more demonstrations planned today regarding his ban. This is just the latest in a long line of crazy and evil things this man wants to do. There are so many it's just hard to keep up with them. I still can't call him my president.
Hope you are all recovering from whatever is going around.
I may not be here often, but you are always in my thoughts.

The Republican leadership won't stand up until they realize this could impact "their" re-election down the road. As long as they see some benifit to riding behind the coattails of President Bannon (not a typo) & VP Mike Flynn. ( no typo) they will wuss out ...as far as I'm concerned, they are traitors to what this country has always stood for.
As for Tweety holding up the signed executive orders, when you are imature for your age, a child actually, you behave accordingly.

This administration is going to put "boots on the ground" in Syria. I firmly believe that this will happen soon..So, how many of America's best & bravest are now going to have to put their lives on the line for a crazy man controlled by the likes of Bannon & Flynn. I think we are only at the beginning of what this administration has in mind. To leave out creating creating safe zones for refugees says they do not value life in any way shape or form... The Conservatives keep saying " All lives matter" (anti-abortionists) well if that's true, prove to the rest of us that all lives really do, not just the unborn or American lives....every life, everywhere matters.

Bannon creeps me out, he looks as if all the evil inside him is seeping through the pores of his skin.

As for KAC, she'll say anything for anyone who is willing to pay her. Do you remember very early in the campaign, before she joined the Trump team but was often a panelist on CNN, back then while she was pro-Republican she was not very pro-Trump. That quickly changed when she got the chance to join his team. Then she was suddenly solidly and vocally behind him. Her voice simply goes to the highest bidder, and she's not at all picky about who or what that is. In my book, I label her scum. She is paid scum.... "Small price to pay" ?? addictinginfo.org/2017/01/29/watch-kellyanne-conway-says-worldwide-chaos-is-a-small-price-to-pay-for-banning-muslims/

I attended an anti-Trump rally yesterday. The story about it in the local paper features the usual trolls calling us snowflakes and whiners but let me tell you, 95% of the cars that drove by our assembly honked, waved, gave thumbs up and peace signs out the windows. Even the police cruisers that did an occasional drive by to make sure we were peaceful and behaving were giving us honks and peace signs and thumbs up. People walking by joined us and chanted with us or waved and smiled. We had no opposition and lots of folks happy to support or join us.
Trump and his minions need these reminders that his worshippers on the campaign trail do not comprise the average American citizen. Meanwhile, back at the farm, our leader tweets and bleats and measures crowds.
