The antibiotics kicked in so I feel much better. The silver lining is that I wasn't able to eat much the past 2 weeks so I did lose a few pounds  I'll take an afghan over here! |

100gone, great news!! So glad they kicked in and are doing their job  after how well my color choices for this site have gone over I will make all scarves/afghans in tan, just plain, yucky tan!

WW weigh-in. Down .2 I'm not actively trying to lose just figuring out this maintaining thing so all is good there.
Unfortunately there is not good news about my dear sister-in-law. She is rapidly failing and her 3 children have decided to remove her breathing and feeding tubes tomorrow. My husband was able to see her yesterday in the hospital--she is basically unresponsive. We can only pray for her family to have strength during this most difficult time. (Just 4 weeks ago she was singing and dancing with an Elvis impersonator and Doo-Wop band at her special surprise birthday party.) So sad.

Thank you... we're just in limbo right now. Trying to distract myself. Hard to get going with the holiday things that need to be done. Such a terrible accident--I just hope she knows how much she is loved as she slowly slips away. |

Dear Pat,
I'm SO sorry! My father passed away on December 10 4 years ago. This time of year is really rough to have someone in the hospital. The waiting is awful. Try to take care of yourself. Get sleep, plenty of fluids and don't feel guilty for ANYTHING!
