Hard to believe that I am staring us off, should I put out a giant urn of coffee? It's going to be perfect here today, sunny and in the 60's. Going to church, play with the grands and Sunday dinner will be steak, baked potato, salad. Hope everyone has wonderful plans!

Good morning. Everybody must be sleeping in this morning. Nobody around but us chickens, it appears. It's not very light out yet, but it appears to be cloudy. The forecast calls for partly sunny with a high around 39.
I went to church last evening, so today is free for me to do whatever I want. I may wash some clothes. My son will be coming this afternoon and will stay until Tuesday. We usually catch up on some TV shows I've recorded. I have ones I watch during the week and then we watch the ones we both like while he is here.
Now I'm going to see if my coffee is done and then have a cup. Have a good day, everybody.

Good morning everyone and thank you lmenglish for getting us going sounds like you and cherryt38 both have nice days planned! ((( pbnj ))) I am sorry you are so stressed, you know food unfortunately isn't going to destress you, it will just add to it, so change up that game plan. What can we do to help? I can do one of those Cher-type slaps from moonstruck "snap out of it" if that would help, anyone else have an idea? zazzles , sounds like a wonderful day yesterday! Glad you enjoyed yourself.

Good morning! Beautiful day here in Houston, clear and cool and highs in the 60s. This is when I love winter in Texas! LOL! Had a great time with the grands yesterday. They went home in the afternoon so I had time to recover! We're meeting them for pizza tonight to celebrate DGS's 8th birthday! Will be drinking more coffee. Enjoy your day!

Good morning everyone. I agree with linda72 about this being my favorite part about winter in TX.Next week we are expecting highs in the 70's.My kind of winter. No concrete plans for today other than church.I'm sure we will find something to do. I had 1 GS cookie last night and it was totally worth the 3 SP.The scale showed a slight jump which is why I know I can't have 1 every night but then the scale can be fickle any day of the week.I have no doubt DH will help finish them up eventually. Have a great day everyone!

DebDoesWW,I have never eaten over 30 SP since it first came out so no way was I going to eat a whole sleeve. It's been more than a yr since I ate a cookie and with the chocolate on it I thought it might be too sweet for me but so not the case.I am glad I upped my daily SP by 2 points b/c for the first time I had 31 SP so I didn't have to get into my weeklies.I did think it was a good bargain for 3 SP however and I really wanted another one but the scale told me 2 definitely would not have been good. These had a double sleeve so if I had eaten even 1 sleeve I would have been too sick this morning to be posting.LOL.

Good morning all.
I dunno about late starts. I suppose it depends on your time zone.
I was up before 6 AM Pacific time but am just eating breakfast and posting now at 7:53 AM.
borntexan: what is a GS cookie? My mind conjures up "Giant Sugar Cookie!"
It will be a nice day today; next rain storm isn't due until Wednesday.
I will do some tidying up around the house and declutter the kitchen area.
Perhaps I'll plan some meals for the week. Tonight will be the last of the meatloaf I made mid-week, with glazed carrots and mashed potatoes I made last night. That will leave the refrigerator devoid of cooked food.
Linda's (lmenglish ) steak and potato sounds good, so I think I'll defrost a Filet Mignon and plan that with a baked potato and veggies for tomorrow's dinner.
I made two servings of berries & cream oatmeal last night, so that will cover tomorrows breakfast (I'm eating one serving right now...yum!).
I hope everyone has a great day.

Was just teasin' I just donate the boxes I get because thin mints and I go wayyyyy back and I can't have them anywhere near me. I am glad you mentioned the scale being fickle, I wouldn't gauge increasing your dailies by a slight gain. Two is a good starting point, but please don't be afraid to increase more. Like Mike has mentioned several times. A SP averages out to 33 calories, so the six points WW actually suggests for maintenance is only approximately 198 calories. That is what I have been going with for years (36), in addition to my weeklies, don't be afraid to use them, especially since you keep upping your activity

DebDoesWW It was pretty chilly this morning (around 40 in Katy) but there was sun and no wind so it wasn't bad walking into the mall for my walk. And, the week ahead looks great (mid 70s) so when I see what other friends are struggling with up north, I'm very appreciative of our winters. Of course, February can be very cold and wet so I'm hoping for the best!

Good morning! Chilly one here...inside, LOL, as our heat is not working. Jeremy is a heating/AC man in his heart of hearts and I thought he'd be late this morning with messing with it. Fortunately our owner wrote me about something, so I didn't have to wait until *later* to get in touch with her, and the plumber (??) should be here soon. borntexan voting with DebDoesWW. I would be seriously surprised if the scale took a bump over one cookie...a slice of pizza or something salty, sure, but not one cookie. I am a huge believer in learning to watch for *trends*...now if you continue to go up, sure, you'll want to adjust but you really want to quit losing, right?? I promise you I eat the equivalent of a cookie every day. You are absolutely right about one thing...I did have to learn (the hard way) what I could eat and moderate. I accept the scale is going to fluctuate...my current dropping of points (from 38-36) came after a lot of thought because normally the scale will nudge right down for me and it just hadn't. But, in 7 years, it's just the third time I've made an adjustment. I realize this is new, but trust yourself and the process. Okay, enough sermonizing, you've already been to church!! linda72 LOL at *winter in TX*...we are going to Lubbock in a couple of weeks to see J's family, and I confess, I'm looking forward to a little switch to *Fall* gear. However, it might be the only positive! I am definitely starting to get a little stir crazy, so this shows how desperate I am. I have been really happy that dropping my points hasn't sent me into *deprivation mode*, I must be making progress. 👣👣👣 It is hugely important for me to remember that I just have today.

It's still morning! I was up early, walking Charlie and taking a spin class. Then shopping and finally home and relaxing. Will do prep work for the week later this afternoon. Linda – Enjoy your dinner. Cherry – I prefer the Saturday service as it frees me up for Sunday spin. Pat – Let me know when you find it. Good morning Deb Linda – Glad you had a great time with the grands. Enjoy dinner with them. Becky – Glad you enjoyed the cookie. I can’t have just one so I don’t have them at all. Good planning Mike
