Hi, Vicki - I hope you find your gym time.
Ted played poke last night so I got up early and went to the Turia to play. I walked 6 miles , round trip, and added 6 sets of walking lunges, step ups and wall sits. I made it back home before it got to hot. My little brother is being a real turd and now his wife has started sending nasty messages as well. So I learned how to block them both from sending me any further emails. They have nothing, the thought of getting money from the sale of the house is making them evil rotten lying people. Meanwhile I am expected to just keep paying for everything. CBL Debbie

Good morning
Debbie, thanks for the weekend start. So glad Ted got good results and care at the hospital. Gee on your brother and his wife. I bet the beach is beautiful there. You are keeping so active.
Vicki, you are so lucky to have AJ to do things with. He is at a great age.
Waving to all
There have been a couple bear sightings in downtown Frederick. They had it on the news this morning that a man was following it and the bear ran after him. How stupid!
Met step goal yesterday, but still no cardio. I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

Good morning. Sorry your brother is being such a jerk, Debbie. My parents made my brother who's in the worst financial shape their executor, so I remind them daily to take their vitamins and avoid strenuous activities because I know things will deteriorate among us three brothers when they're gone. Following bears? That's just Darwin at work, Brenda. It's already disgusting out today. Going up to 97° with a bazillion percent humidity and no breeze. It also brings a lot of violence in Chicago. We're going to the Kane County flea market - about 50 miles from here. The only significant thing about it is the very close proximity to the outlet mall.

Hi, Brenda - ditto what Louis said about bear chasing. Any fun plans? We are happy with the medical care that was a worry moving Louis - a flee market and a outlet mall, sounds like major hubby points. I hope you are never in a situation that's tears apart your family. The block email feature is a good one to know and you are ahead of the game.
We just watched 7 years in Tibet, what a good movie. We can't believe we missed it when it came out. Ted came close to making the Sunday tournament so he is going back tonight. Send winning vibes please. The watermelon is in the markets now! Sooooo good. Debbie

Sunday start.
Hi, I hope everyone is well and having exciting adventures or wonderful relaxing time. Ted played poker very late last night, well 4am today, so I got up , had breakfast and went exploring. I took my camera so hopefully will post some facebook pictures. I went to a beautiful garden and the Ceramic museum. Sunday is such a fun day to explore most city museums are free. It is getting hot out, glad my steps are done. Debbie

Good Sunday Morning!
Another hot one today!
Debbie...it sounds like you are enjoying your adventure...So much to explore...are you making some of the local dishes customary to the area? Are there any cooking schools in the area? Is it a tourist area?
Brenda...Be careful on the towpath is that anywhere near the area?
Lou..Heat makes people crazy. Hopefully Ceilia finds a nice air conditioned store for you today!
Waving to the rest!
My sister in law invited us to her pool (not really sure why) never have before...!
Stay cool..

Hi, Lori - the only thing I cook of local food so far is the mussels. I do not know anything about cooking schools here. I know they the wine painting get togethers. Valencia is the third largest city in Spain, cruise ships dock here, the America cup was here a couple times so yes there are tourists. The city isn't crazy like Barcelona or Madrid. We walk the entire city. There is still so much for us to explore.
Have fun and keep cool in the pool. Debbie

Good afternoon
Debbie, thanks for the Sunday start. I loved your pictures on FB. The carriage was beautiful.
Lou, you are a good husband ;-)
Lori, I am about 1 mile from the towpath. I have never seen a bear there, but have seen wild turkeys, deer, owls, eagles, Canadian Geese, snapping turtles, snakes, horses, squirrels and dogs (with their owners). Wow what a menagerie! Weird the bears keep showing up in my neighborhood. But luckily they are just passing through. Hate to bring it up, but is there anything left of your garden?
Virginia, how are you doing?
Vicki, hope you are keeping cool.
I went to my WW meeting this morning. I stayed the same which I was happy with, but really was not a good thing.
See ya tomorrow!!

Good afternoon.
I'm curious to know if Debbie's exploration plans were thwarted by the soccer game today.
We ended up not going to the outlet mall. Ended up at the Brazilian restaurant in Aurora instead. But, fear not, their A/C wasn't working.
They should charge admission to the tow path and call it a cageless zoo, Brenda.

Hi, Brenda - staying the same is a good sign that next week a loss is coming. So be on track this week and look forward to a happy dance next Sunday. Louis - the restaurant sounds better than the outlet mall. No the soccer game didn't affect anything.
We went for a nice after dinner walk. Debbie

Hello,
Thanks for the weekend start, Debbie. I am sorry about your brother and his wife. It's sad to see what greed does to some people. We had issues with DB and let's just say he did something really underhanded. Anyway, enough of that. I'm impressed at Ted's poker skill. I'm really glad that he got a clean bill of health. Your pics of Spain are wonderful. And...so I can get on your agenda, Beth and I are looking at April of 2020 to come visit. Does that work? I am saving my pennies.
Hi Vicki, I hope that you are staying cool this weekend.
Hi Brenda, bears...oh my! I am just astounded that someone would follow one. You have lots of wildlife in your area! I saw a fawn yesterday that still had its spots. It's the youngest deer I have seen around here. I am sure that mama deer was very near. I saw a blue heron when I walked in the neighborhood last weekend and also some turtles. The herons and turtles are my favorites to see. I'm glad that you made it to your WW meeting.
Hi Lou. We are having similar weather, we've been under a heat advisory that should expire this evening. It's not enjoyable to be out for very long. I agree with you regarding the Darwin comment. Sounds like a good thing that the outlet mall didn't happen. Dining in a restaurant with no A/C had to be a bit much, though.
Hi Lori, this sounds like a good weekend for the pool.
I've read some of the week's happenings from my phone when I've been eating lunch but I'm sure I have missed a lot. I will go back and catch up on the events of the past several days. I opted for indoor FP this weekend due to the heat and also deciding to not set the alarm. I missed my WW meeting due to sleeping through my alarm on Friday morning. That put me on notice to renew my focus on getting to bed earlier through the work week. DSis had car trouble on Friday, so I played chauffeur for her and DNephew yesterday. Otherwise, I am looking forward to heading to see DS#1 and the crew next weekend. DS#2 is my travel companion. I'm in hopes that the DGDs warm up to us quickly.
Take care, Ginia
