Good morning all,
Temperature will be 94* with a heat advisory. It's going to be hot. I did get the sheets washed and the bed made yesterday and I also made dinner. But not much else. I did do some of my physical therapy exercises done. I need to keep up with them now so I am stronger for this surgery. I think that my knees heard me when I made my appointment because they have been bothering me worse since I made it. LOL.
Today is church and then lunch with friends. The choir is singing a patriotic song for the 4th. I hope I do okay walking down the steps.
Have a good one.

Not much going on here today. DH mentioned going for a ride this afternoon but so far we haven't. I don't get excited about just riding if it doesn't have purpose.
We didn't get much rain last night. Today is cooler but still humid with a nice breeze this afternoon. I watered my potted flowers, then pulled weeds & finally tried hoeing. Hoeing bothers my back so now I have the heating pad on it. It feels good but perhaps ice would be better. I don't remember which is best to use. I've mentioned how this pain has been different from the sciatic nerve pain, so now I'm thinking it may be the muscle instead - maybe a little of each. I slept better last night but every time I changed positions it hurt. When I first get up I am very sore till I take a few steps. This morning DH & I went for a short walk & when the sciatic nerve was acting up it was too painful to walk with him. This first started after we laid the patio blocks so that makes me think muscle too. As of now the blocks are on hold waiting for SIL to do them.
Wondering what Mary & Sue are up to today.

marlene take Tylenol or if you have any muscle relaxers take one. then ice.
they claim heat cause inflamation.
then use what ever one feels right for better for you. sometimes I use heat. most of the time it is ice.
don't be afraid to get checked out.sometimes we need something a little stronger then otc meds.

I am up to nothing good or productive. lol. Mosquitoes outside. Temperature is about 70. There's a slight breeze and thunder in the distance. My foot hurts, and I'm in danger of becoming irritable. I'm taking two Aleve in the morning and evening, but it's not doing the job today. I suppose it could be the change in barometric pressure, but it's a strange mix of numbness, pain, swelling, and inability to move my toes.

We had some hard rain after church and over the lunch hour (while I was going for lunch with friends). It has cooled off enough to be comfortable, but is still some muggy. Soon I’ll be going for dinner to celebrate a DD’s BD on the 7th when she’ll be 60, and also for SIL’s 54th birthday (my other DD’s DH). His isn’t until the 13th but we often celebrate together lately. It sounds like everyone here has special needs, medically. I pray that you all feel better soon, whether it is your knees, feet, back, teeth, hips or platelets! Gotta go soon.
