TOOT, TOOT! CHUG, CHUG, CHUG! Here comes the Train to Thinsville down the track and into your station, so hop on board and enjoy the ride.
This morning it was 70º and going up to 91º and partially cloudy with scattered thunderstorms and NE wind 5-10 mph.
As far as I know there are no special plans for today, so I’ll just wait and see what comes up. When we had the big thunderstorm, last Monday I think, our dryer wouldn’t work. All the lights are on but it won’t work, so a repairman is to come sometime today to fix that.
I’m happy to say Rachael is feeling better every day and she should be back to normal soon.
We played UNO last night and I actually won a game for the first time ever. Sarah won the other two games we played.
We’re still waiting to hear something from the moving company and we sure would like to have our things.

Good morning Doris & ATF,
Showers today. Currently it's 76; the high will be 85 with humidity.
Nothing much going on here. I never got to the store yesterday maybe today if its not a pouring rain and floods. Not sure about bingo tonight either....will just have to wait and see.
I can't believe it takes the Attorney General so long to act on the movers.
Have a great day everyone!

Emily,
It sounds like you will have a quiet day today.
I hope you can go out and do your shopping between showers.

Good morning!
Currently it is 84º and will go up another 10 degrees or so. DH will goout to pick up teh Sam's order this morning, but that is the only thing Iknow that has to be done. Doris, you need to buy a set of mexican train dominoes. It is a lot of fun, and you don't have to play any longer than you want to. Our family enjoys it a lot. The only score we keep is who goes out the most. We do not count points. Don't know what we would do without our set! How is Ken? Didn't you say he wasn't well the other day? Glad Rachael is feeling better. z-packs are wonderful! Emily, hope you can get to bingo tonight! I know you won't risk getting flooded, though. I never quite understand these folks who go out in adverse conditions for insignificant reasons. Baby formula -- yes. Diapers -- use a dish towel!
Be happy today! Diane

Diane,
MJ and Hannah are out grocery shopping right now and they may come home with another game for us to play.
As far as I know Ken is doing OK. With his bad back he has a lot of bad days, especially if he is working on something out in the yard. He tries to keep busy even though he is hurting and so far refuses to take a stronger dose of pain medicine. He has a pump for it that was implanted several years ago.

good morning riders,
wi today lost 1.8. not sure how I did not follow any ww rules. becki announced today as of july 15th we will have to wear shoes or socks to wi. no more paper towels.it is a health rule.not sure if ww health departments or wahington's rulings.
I wear socks in the winter and summer always have footies with me as I go in sandals.
i think why it takes the attorney general so long is he has alot of other cases to deal with.
they probably have to find these guys.
I had a chiro treatment this am. they called and I can get in for a 60 minute massage.
hopefully that will help loosen up some of these back muscles. I am doing alot better then last weekend and part of this week.
have a good friday. phyl

Phyl,
I can understand why the health department changed those rules. I wouldn't want to take a chance of picking up athete's foot or anything else from people weighing barefoot.
I hope you feel better after your chiro appointment. It always feels good to get those muscles loosened up again.

Doris, thank you for the report on Ken. I feel a concern for him, because I remember your talking about his severe back trouble. Our DD had corrective back surgery several years ago to straighten her spine -- neck to tailbone -- 10 hour surgery! As these fronts come through, she hurts even worse than the usual pain she must endure. When I pray for her, I often include Ken. It will be fun to see what new game MJ chooses. Diane

It is good to hear that Rachael is almost back to normal. UNO is a good game my DGC sometimes play.
Today we actually do not have children. Matt has them today. So I went to the NE Y and then stopped to pick up things we are almost out of after lots of people in the house. After this I think Abel and Matt's kids won't have time together. They will miss each other.
We have nice weather today. I walked before going into the Y and it was only in the mid 70's. We have clothes drying on the line. Wall to wall sunshine.
You would think that something would happen with your furniture.

NOne of the government offices were open for the 4th of July and lot people on vacation as well that work in them. Just saying maybe nothing getting done this week. Hope next week will bring some answers.
I remember using a paper towel on the scales when getting weighed. My friend would not wear any of her jewelry either. I am sure it didn't weigh anything!! wonder if Dr offices are the same as well? If it is a law!!
It is sunny and we didn't get any rain today and not as hot 82° and low humidity and a breeze. We did have flood warnings all day yesterday and night. Lot of water in basements in my area. I'm good.

Helen,
You had a quiet day, probably the first one in quite a while. I'm glad you had a nice day and could dry clothes in the sunshine.
We had showers on and off all day and even some thunder.

Connie,
With the flood warnings I'm glad you didn't have any water in the basement.
