Hi friends Arthritis seems to have decided to move on. Hope it didn't find any of you.
About all I did today is vacuum the entry rugs and swifter dust the laminate floors.
Got some new books at the library, visited a friend for a few minutes, picked up some sweet corn and took Ozzie for a walk. Had leftovers and corn for supper. Ready for my chair and a book now.

Betty- glad you are feeling better.
it's so crazy hot. Was 115 outside about an hour ago. Air conditioner is set at 78 and running non stop. Afraid to put it lower. It's about 9 years old.
The daylillies out front look horrible. They have enough water. They look sunburned. Definitely having all 6 taken out and put in something more hardy. Rest of front yard seems ok. Back yard is struggling. I turned on drip system just now to give a little extra water.

Lin- I am such a baby. Hate super high heat. Stayed home today. We wanted to go out to dinner tonight but decided to go tomorrow night. The restaurants will be busy because Friday night and people not wanting to cook.
The party in Yreka on the 14th is outside in a camp ground. It's going to be 100. There is a air conditioned recreation room we probably will hopefully stay in.

Last night I had my sleep study at the hospital. I've been tired all day! I'm one point away from the cut off from adding oxygen, medicare's # when they'll pay. So my CPAP was cranked up, and the air pressure kept causing leaks.
The day has gone past slowly, and I'm looking forward to going to bed.
Our sky has been hazy from all the fires to the west. This is early in the season.
A belated happy birthday, Lin!

Where I live in Florida is in the 80's. Now I live at the beach, within 1 mile of the ocean so it is always cooler than in town. But it is really strange.
Betty, I am so glad the arthritis is gone, didn't come here, thank heavens.
I guess I didn't post last night, sorry. My usual pizza group yesterday. I have been with them for 7 years and the only times we miss are Thanksgiving and a couple of hurricane days. I did miss one for a doc appointment. This group has been meeting way before me. I love having them every week and in between.
One of my friends is going to Iceland next week. I like warm places, not likely to take a trip to any place cold.
Mar, I have had flowers fry in the heat. Once it was hydrangeas, it was so sad. And tomatoes.
Bath done and have to decide what to watch. Lin, Acorn looks good. May have to try it. So much to watch and so little time. I don't watch one thing on the so called major networks.
Good night, ladies.
