Hello from Missouri! I am contemplating trying WW again. Had good results years ago, but I'm T-2 diabetic now, so I'm curious if this plan will need to be adjusted for me, or if it's ok as is. I've tried to find what they say on the website, but didnt find much.

hi missouri, I am type 2 diabetic and go to ww. can't say I am doing great right now as I Have not been working the program I joined in the 70's over the years I have lost 30 pounds.
I found out in february of 2001 I was diabetic. the main thing is with the new program to watch your sugars. keep track of your carbs.
just because we have free foods does not mean we can eat as much of anything we want. it still boils down to tracking and portion control. when you join it will take awhile and you will find out what way the program works the best for you.
you can call the ww 1-800-651-6000 number and talk to their dieticans. I SEE my nututionist once a year.
some members have gotten of their meds by following the program.
you could also talk to your nurtionst and see what she says
I am sure other posters will give you their imput.
can we call you by your first name? you can always make up a name. that is how we get to know each other.
I am phyl. married and 3 daughters and 2 grandsons phyl

Welcome to the board. At our ages...ove 60's it's harder to lose weight. That being said, I did like the previous poster, Housemouse and lost on my own. I also had a significant loss and am at a happy weight that I never thought I could acheive. Now I'm very careful to keep it there by weighing every day and making sure that if the scale is up that I'm more careful that day and eat more lean protein. Having been a nurse, I suggest a certified diabetic educator who can teach you all about diabetes and the things you need to eat and do to stay as healthy as possible.
