Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.x
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning all,
Today's might day off. A few things planned. Out for breakfast, then heading to the library to drop off some books for them to sell. I would also like to go through my upstairs closet to see if I have anything there to donate. I have a bag that I would like to fill to take to Amvets.
I didn't mind working those extra hours yesterday. I barely noticed the difference. The girl went over the task list again, then I just started working on it. It's something that will be easy enough to work on in the late part of my shift. Definitely not difficult once the work gets organized. I did hear that the girl they offered the job to did NOT accept it, so it will be a while before any change takes place. The girl from my office might work her new job one or 2 days each week for training, but they do have to get a replacement before she can completely move over. Either way it won't affect me. If my boss delegates the workload , she could probably get away with hiring someone part time. It's not that there is a lot of work, it's more that only one girl does task A and no one else know what she does. Cross training would work out so much better.
Our Christmas lunch is next Wednesday. I signed up for dessert. Will probably make cookies, and if I do I will make enough for the service guys too.
Enjoy your day.

Hi Joyce, hope you had a fun and productive day off. Did you have a good breakfast out? Were you able to get more items out of your house for the Amvets? I agree that cross training is important in any office. Did you do any baking today for the Christmas luncheon or are you waiting till next week?
Ruth, thanks for the offer of help with my iPad. Right now Iām just enjoying what I know on it and not trying too much, just too busy. Safe travels when you go see your DD and her family.
Hi to Cathy and Jill. Cathy, hope you and John are doing okay. Iām sure you are been busy trying to get everything ready for Christmas since you lost so much prep time while John was sick.
Last night and today were very cold (single digits). We also had another snow squall that went thru during the night so there was about another half inch on the ground this morning. Tonight we are supposed to get 4 to 6 inches but it will warm up and end with rain. That is probably not good because the temp is supposed to drop tomorrow night so the rain could turn into ice. Made 3 batches of gluten free chex mix and one batch of the chocolate mix. The gluten free chex is one snack that DS#2 can enjoy, in fact we all enjoy chex mix. I sampled too much today, but it is all put away till Christmas Eve, and the leftovers go to the boys.
