Did get to the grocery store yesterday but didn't get much. Just so bored with food and Fred keeps getting things I need to stay away from but since it's here I mindlessly get into it. We see Maija very little as she either is upstairs on her phone or off with her friends. I know it's typical of teenagers and glad that she is able to do that. Then Debbie's hours are sporadic as she tries to see her third shift employees so they don't get into the mode of goofing off thinking nobody will check on them. Her interview went well for the director position and she was told she will be moving onto the second interview plus the guy said how happy he was she had applied several times and laid out the time frame he has for filling the position. None of this is usually discussed at the first interview but she doesn't want to get her hopes up and be disappointed. He did say the position will be filled by the end of the month.
Debbie did order memory mattresses last night from the same place she had ordered a mattress for Maija when they got her a new bedroom set a couple of years ago. She got a double and a queen and it will be delivered here and she will just keep it here until she moves into her apartment on August 11. I think I heard her telling Fred she is taking Maija furniture shopping on Friday and will have a delivery date of August 11 as the place she's going to has to order the furniture. This way Maija will have a say in what they get. Debbie said if it only lasts a couple of years that's okay as when they buy a house she'll want new and better furniture but for now it's just to have something that's reasonable.
I think today I will go shoe shopping, even though I hate shopping for shoes. But I do need new tennis shoes. Also need to do something to take my mind off food!

Good morning!
Gail, Wow! Sorry you are having so many issues with Facebook. I wonder what happened? There is no one you can contact for Facebook technical support. I think what I would do is open a new account and go from there.
It is going to be another hot one today.
Sandy, I think shoe shopping would be a good way to get a little exercise and not focus on food. I hope you find some bargains.

Good morning ladies!
I just heard on the news that all of the boys and their coach have been rescued from the cave in Thailand. Wonderful news!!!
Sandy, I hear you on the shoe shopping. Good luck!
Ruth, we're hot again today here too. I think this makes the 20th day that we've been 90 or above this year. I'm ready for some cooler temps.
This morning I have my ladies gathering at church and then I have a chiropractor appt this afternoon. In between, I'll just try to stay inside and stay cool.

All the boys from the Thai soccer team are out of the cave today! Yay! I pray that they are all okay and heal quickly from this ordeal.

Good morning and some good news....all twelve soccer players and their coach are freed from the Thailand cave. Now they must recover.
Gail I am beginning to think you were hacked on Facebook. Hoping you got the help you need.
Sandy I am tired of my food too. In the process of having a pity party and eating things I shouldn’t, I have gained 2 lbs and am up over my decade mark.
I need to look at recipes and find something to eat that is different at least.
I feel like I have a day off today without the back therapy. It is extensive with three different types of therapy but I often have to wait 10-15 minutes between those as they are busy. Seems like this is a good time of year for them to have staff vacations.
I went to bed early last night and tossed some. Then I woke late this morning. I think I will tackle the baby blanket today.
I need to go back and read late yesterday posts.

Fred got an e-mail that the strawberry, poppyseed, chicken salad is back at Panera's so I think for something different we might get the 1/2 salad while out and by having it with ff dressing it's only 3 points or 5 points if I get regular dressing. But I know that will fill me up as it always does!

Good morning
Yes wonderful news about the boys. That was the first thing I looked at this morning.
I got to the pool and the waterfall was on and a man was standing under it singing (kind of creepy). I was all alone after he left but did my hanging and came home because Kelcy was due at the groomers and I didn't want to be late since I need to pick him up before Don has his Dr. appointment. It just seems as though I am always on the go and it is exhausting. So I have been up 2 1/2 hours and just now took my pills so that I can eat in 30 minutes.
I feel like I am running behind with everything.

Good morning all. Jane take a deep breath and take a few minutes for yourself. I feel pushed most of the time. If I sit for a few minutes before going to work I usually fall asleep. I have to set my alarm so I don't miss my clock-in time. Got up and took care of the dogs, pulled a few weeds and made cucumbers and onions for the pot luck. I have a recipe that keeps the onions from having an aftertaste. Cover them first will boiling water and then drain and go on with the cukes. Dressing is only water, vinegar (I use apple cider) sugar and salt. I also add a bit of pepper and dill weed. I have a problem following recipes.
After I leave here, shower, hair, sew while it dries a little and then add a few rollers to the top for a while until it dries completely. I just got it cut on Saturday. It had been 7 weeks. I want it as short as possible for the trip as I will be able to swim and just spray and scrunch or a few hits with the curling iron if we are going out, and we will eat out a lot! It seems that none of my friends or relatives cook. The reunion will be all home cooked foot on Saturday, but that will be it.
Have to sweep the kitchen as three dogs are dragging in a lot of dirt. My DF is still in the hospital and as of last night they thought she would not need surgery and blockage would resolve itself. They did however say that she had a lot of inflamation in her stomach and were going to do some test this morning to what was causing that.
A litte bit of berries and yogurt for breakfast. Learning to eat less and less and be satisfied. WI down a wee bit every morning this week!!!! Still a long way from next decade down. I do have July and August to get there and I am not giving up yet.

Geri I think you could take a breath too. It’s crazy the week you leave somewhere isn’t it!
I decided to start tracking today as a trial run before I get serious tomorrow. It’s not even 3 in the afternoon and I am out of points!
I can’t find something I need for art and for sewing and I am blaming Don for rearranging things. Err.

Greetings: i wrote a quick post when we were in McDonald's, not maybe didn't push the button as it's not here.
Got the news about the boys from here. One article is seen was a discussion about how it could be months. Should be stories on how they did it. I remember that part of the cave was under water.
Everyone sounds a bit at wits end! I hope we each figure out what we need. Is there a food that says special to you? It's blueberries for me. And now my own lattes made with coconut milk. They are so good!
I haven't been tracking at all. That blue dot got really annoying and then i found myself eating around it. Dumb. I do like tracking. I was getting used to the phone app but i also like the journal and it doesn't have that blue dot.
Read a quip in Prevention something like.. it's easier to not eat something than to try and work it off. Or something like that.

Wishing Debbie good luck with the job application, Sandy!
I think I will start a new FB page, Ruth. Ridiculous. Not yet though. Trying to get lots of other things done. Sharon, I do think I was hacked. It looks like Russian or some Eastern European country's language. I know the Russians hacked our last election. How important could my FB account be?
I just ordered a bicycle for use now and especially after my knee replacement therapy. A neighbor just got one and it looks like what I need. Her husband-to-be volunteered to help me set it up if I stayed with him and offered him some wine. Good deal.
Sharon, how is your back doing with the therapy? I know what you mean about being tired. Today I went to yoga for an hour, then went to my arthritis aquatic class. I got there 30 minutes early so I could do more exercise. Total of 1.25 hours. There is an aerobics class tonight at the clubhouse, but I think that would be too much in one day.
Hope you had fun with the ladies, Vicki.
Jane, I worry about you. Someone here suggested using the senior ride that they have in many towns. Mort used it all the time. I was exhausted from driving him everywhere and that really helped. I set aside a few days when I was available and, of course, took him to critical meetings with doctors. You might want to try that.
And you are one busy lady too, Geri.
Karen, I've always gone by something like that. I try not to even bring something I would have difficulty with into the house. Easier to say now at the store than to say no when it's on your shelf.
My quote for today: Let yourself move to the next chapter in life when the time comes. Don't remain stuck on the same page.
I have done a lot of exercise but not nearly enough walking today. And I won't. On days when I do a lot of other things I don't push it. On other days I have been making my 7,000 steps.
The tracking with friends is really working for me. There are 4 of us who work for WW who had been struggling. I don't always track 0 SP foods on my app, but do with these friends. We text each other with what we have eaten.
Have a lovely evening, friends.
Gail
