Happy Day All!
Emily – will you get in the pool with TJ? Sounds like fun!
PeggySue – family – you love to see them come, and you love to see them go. I certainly can’t do all that I used to do.
Dayle – we have some family issues from hell as well. Mostly with DH’s kids – my how they can get offended. VERY depressing. I keep trying to apply the Serenity Prayer and pray that someday it will be worked out. Sometimes I’m more successful than others. My sister for a while was head of nursing for a psych hospital. Horrible! Anyway, she taught me about problem ownership years ago. If you’ve done everything you can to fix a problem, and someone is still upset, angry, whatever, they own that problem, not you. It helps to let it go – but not always easy. I feel for you, but don’t believe you own this problem.
BettyJ – wish I could send you some of the fruits and veggies from FL and GA. They are wonderful!
Saw your post from last night about bathingetc. I shower usually once a day, but sometimes skip a day if I haven't been outside and sweaty - and am not going anywhere. I wash my hair every time I shower - but again, that's because of the sweat thing. DH puts the whole toilet seat down (thank goodness) but I don't usually.
Mar – glad you still have a fun trip to take.
Lin – glad the ibuprofen worked and you could get out and about. Found out yesterday that DH has peripheral vascular disease in his leg. Going to a vascular specialist as soon as they call us and set up appointment. Worrying. What is it you have? Looks like you were expecting a pretty good storm. Did it help?
Phyl – sorry to hear both hips are bothering you now.
Connie – you are such a good neighbor!
I had my awesome (2.5 hour) pedicure yesterday afternoon. She always schedules me at the end of the day and we talk and laugh a lot. So very nice. Today DH (we) is going to his pre-colonoscopy dr appt. He’s due again. He had colon cancer, so is religious about going as required. Luckily that time they caught it before it had perforated the wall of his colon so he didn’t have to have chemo. Whew!
I may not be able to start tomorrow as I have an early appt with the eye doc. It’s been a long time since I went in, so is overdue. Also, things are a little murky. Hope it’s nothing to worry about - don't think it is.
Take care all – see you sometime tomorrow.
