TOOT, TOOT! CHUG, CHUG, CHUG! Here comes the Train to Thinsville down the track and into your station, so hop on board and enjoy the ride.
This morning it was 73Âş and going up to 90Âş and partly cloudy in the morning followed by scattered afternoon thunderstorms and winds will be light and variable.
We plan to go to the bank this morning to set up our account here. We still have everything where we moved from and need to make that change.
We’ll stop at the doctor’s office to check with him about a prescription I need to get filled for long term (3 months at a time) and since he just checked my thyroid level I should be able to have him give me a new prescription for it or just send it in for me.

Good morning!
88Âş now! Who knows later? Got part way through my post and it disappeared. Somewhere in a star system far away, someone will be puzzled. Doris, I'm glad you are getting your bank business taken care of. I know you'll be happy to have that done. Is Rachael better today? She needs to be well! Today we'll have our cleaning lady here, and DH will have his PT. Nothing else is on the agenda, though who knows. Tomorrow is dominoes day, so it will be good to have a quiet day today. We'll pick up pizza for lunch for everyone. Our hostess is going to have a hip replacement operation next Wednesday (18th) and asked for this. She is a very lively 94 year old, and is looking forward to it. Have a happy day! Diane

Good morning Doris & ATF,
Sunny today. Currently 83; the high for today 95.
This morning I had an early morning manicure appointment. Now I'm home and all I have to do is change my shower curtain then wait for my sons to get here after they leave work. The 3 of us will be going to SIL's sisters wake till about 9pm. I'm not sure if we will be there the whole time but will see Frankie & Vinny there. I'm not going to the funeral mass tomorrow. Just don't feel like the drive down the shore.
Have a great day!

Diane,
The men came to cut down the tree this morning so we didn't go to the bank, just went out and got the groceries we needed and came back home. We're back home from shopping and they are still working out there.
Rachael seems to be a bit better today and at least we are seeing improvement each day. I know the Z-pack keeps working for about 5 days after it is finished.

Emily,
I'm sure it felt good to have a manicure.
I know you will be glad to see the boys at the wake tonight, so sad to have that accident and lose your DSIL's sister.

Hi!
Today it is another hot day. I went to the Y and then to Sam's Club. I wanted to get food to have as I'm running out of ideas. So got some frozen food that needs to be baked and am baking it all now and then freeze it and people can heat what they want. Abel went to downtown to meet with his church group and Dave went with him and was going to spend the time at the museum as those two places are close together. His time here is winding down. Next week he's going to a summer camp and then his mom should be back. Today I signed parent signatures for Abel's camp next week. I listed myself as grandma. Matt's kids are here next week. we're ready to get away and should be able to do that in August. Probably somewhere in west Nebraska.
Doris, good to hear that Rachael is on the mend and you got the tree down. Now I hope that furniture gets there.
Yancy wasn't himself for the last couple days and Dave gave him baby aspirin. Today he's acting more normal

I didn't have internet this morning but seems to be fixed. Customer service said it was a problem in the area. Who knows??
I did make it to the library and spend some time in there. One of my favorite places!! Doris hope you get the bank stuff done soon, know you will be happy when that is off the list of things to do.
I am off to get some of my plants watered. It has been dry. Hotter today 90° but still no humidity to speak of so that is great.

Helen,
It sounds like you had a busy morning - and probably afternoon too. It was a good idea to get frozen food that needs to be baked and baking it and putting it in the freezer for anyone to eat.
I'm sure Abel will be glad to have his mom back, but he is keeping busy. Matt's kids will be with you next week so I guess you will be happy to go somewhere in August.
It's good to hear Yancy is feeling back to normal again.

Doris, I'm glad they are getting the tree taken care of before any little critters can move in. Helen, have you felt like things got really a lot busier during the summer? They did for all of us, what with one thing and another. My DSisIL and her DD were going on a mission trip to Haiti, and it was cancelled before of fighting. Scary. Hugs! Diane

Phyl,
I'm glad to hear the chiro treatments seem to be helping and you are feeling some better. I hope you keep improving now.
I think you were right that it is better to be where you can get up and move around from time to time instead of just sitting.

Diane I've heard of the fighting in Haiti. It is shutting down missions temporarily. I saw the pictures and looks familiar on the streets. It is so sad when things happen there and even doesn't get on the news.
