Greetings from frigid Connecticut. Brrrr and I do mean brrrr! We already got an email at work that we have noon closure due to the Alberta Clipper coming in. Alberta Clippers generally mean business. Suzanne, is it going to clip you?
I actually did get my butt out there yesterday and walk at lunch - turning back after 10 minutes (cold and windy) but did it. Enjoyed another soothing Kundalini practice in the evening. I'm needing all the soothing I can get.
Daily Affirmation - Today I will be safe and warm.
Fitness Report - lunch walk and yoga.
Health Goal - decide if I should attend scheduled Pilates this afternoon as it will be snowing.
Gratitude - understanding employers.

Thanks for the congrats. I am excited for DS. He was hoping for a boy. All I can say is I hope his fiance 'Queen Elizabeth' is dealing with it. She was hoping for a girl. I'm hoping he is a mini-Danny, as he was such a fun baby.
Yes, I have a new name for her. Queen Elizabeth. She is worthy of it. It's all about her! God Bless my son. Hope he knows what's in store for him!

Pat, thank you for getting us started. I don't think we're supposed to get "clipped" hard by this front. Maybe a couple inches. Its been snowing very gently for about 2 hours, but very little accumulation. Whats the accumulation forecast where you are? Thanks for the link to the Kathy Smith site. I'll check it out. Isn't it great all these resources we have thru the internet. Are you still doing kundalini with Mariya? I chuckled when I read your reference to the days of "leg-warmers and leotards". Just this past weekend, I was explaining to DH why we must keep a VHS-tape player in the house.
Lisa: We're here for you. With your positive outlook, I just know you'll manage QE2. Love your affirmation today. Have you started any pre-season garden plans (for yourself or your clients)? I need to get back to my seed-starts planning and order whatever I need.
Managed to get to my Tai Chi class yesterday which turned out to be my own private class (its always a small class). It was great. We worked on moves I need to work on and did some stretching that we don't normally do. For strength training, around 8:30PM, I finally got around to some exercises with my stability ball. I'm loving that thing!
Daily Affirmation: The universe is reordering my life to match more of what I am calling forth. (LiveAwake, 'Learning To Surrender')

Pat, yes! It's taken me a while to really get to know her for obvious reasons. I do like many things about her, but after recent events I am looking at her in a completely different light these days. ~~~~ C O N T R O L F R E A K ~~~~~ I have been working on this every single day. I must put my ill feelings aside, as she IS the QUEEN and has all the power. I get it! I choose sucking it up in order to see my grandkids someday. Good thing I am patient and practice positive thinking daily, right?
My GF just told me about a podcast I think you girls would be interested in. It's a tedtalk called How to Gain Control of your free time. She uses a similar technique by writing her Holiday letter at the beginning of the year. Great visualization to what you want to accomplish, then you use that letter to put the plan into action. I'm going to watch it today.
fitness report: 15 min rebound 15 UBWO 15 min floor exercise I did a million different things to a count of 12. I think I could be onto something..

Whew, even with the early dismissal it was a tough ride home. It didn't look bad but was treacherous - saw three accidents and several skid outs. I'm battened down at home. DH got home early too and said it is slippery. We have three inches and it's still coming down. How is it up by you, Suzanne?
Ugh, Lisa, control freaks are the worst. Maybe it's a mixed blessing that they don't live close now.

I need to figure out more stretches to do with the ball. I have been good about stretching daily, and it feels sooo good.
