Today is my oldest son's 48th Birthday. For 45 & 1/2 of those years he has seizured just about every day, from mild to severe. But despite all he has gone thru, he's never ever complained, about what Life has dealt to him. He always would say, " You can choose to be happy or sad" ..." I choose happy, what do you choose?" ...Well, today, I choose Happy, despite the crazy, messed up world I woke up to today. So, I will be sitting on the Bench, serving Birthday treats. Jason's friends & fellow employees at ABLE (Aquiring the Basics for Living and Employment) requested Scotcheroos. So, 2 big pans of those will be going to work with Jason. I always had my Mom make me a Chocolate Cake with green minty sticky frosting, so I will, in my imagination be enjoying that...:-)...Have a favorite Birthday memory, please share...my favorite memory is Mom making that cake, then taking me & some of my friends to one town over to the movie theatre to see Ingrid Bergman in The Inn of the Sixth Happiness. ...still my all time favorite movie. I don't know how many times I've watched that movie, but hoping to again tonight if I can find it. It will make you smile, laugh & cry all at same time. So, have a HEALTHY day, & choose Happy today. ...đ

Happy Birthday to Jason! I hope he has a spectacular day, and you as well Linda. Jason's a wise man choosing happy. I am going to try and follow his lead. Favorite birthday memory, I remember my sixth birthday party was a slumber party with friends from school. We didn't have sleeping bags, but slept on quilts and blankets in the living room floor. My mom made a chocolate cake, and my birthday gift was a swing set that my dad had built for me. Good memory! New laptop is up and going, and I think I'm going to like it a lot. I am enjoying the fact that it is so much faster than my old one had become. Just have to get used to the fact that the right shift key is further over than on my last keyboard. Right now I keep hitting PgUp and moving my cursor instead of Shift. I'll get used to that though. Sally Yates had to know that she would be fired for her stance on not defending Tweety's immigration order, yet she chose to stand up for what she believes to be lawful and right. You've got to admire her for that.

Joyce glad you have your laptop up and running. DH or one of the Boys or Grand boys would have to set up mine. Read this the other day and now it is on CNN.......People who are cheering on "Dumpfy and Bannon Ltd." have not gone deep enough to know, understand and think through the ramification. They are going to get a BIG surprise! One Example: www.cnn.com/2017/01/29/opinions/trump-ban-impact-on-health-care-vox/index.htmlAnd guess who is going to be affected the most?

Trump Fires Attorney General After Copy of Constitution Is Found on Her Computer By Andy Borowitz 10:51 A.M.
WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)âDonald Trump fired the acting Attorney General, Sally Q. Yates, after learning that she had downloaded a copy of the United States Constitution to her computer, Trump told reporters on Monday night.
According to the Trump Administrationâs code of ethics, established by Steve Bannon, a counsellor to the President, âpossessing, reading, or referring to the United States Constitutionâ is a violation that is punishable by termination.
Suspecting that Yates was in breach of that rule, Bannon seized Yatesâs computer at the Justice Department and discovered that she had secretly downloaded a complete copy of the 1789 document.
âSally Yates was hatching a covert plot to require my actions to be in accordance with the Constitution,â Trump said. âWe caught her red-handed.â
Trump said he hoped Yatesâs firing would send Justice Department staffers the message that âif you are caught flagrantly obeying the Constitution, you will be out of here.â
âThe American people deserve an Attorney General who will come to work every day ready to flout the Constitution, and in Jeff Sessions, they will have one,â he said.
Andy Borowitz is a New York Times best-selling author and a comedian who has written for The New Yorker since 1998. He writes the Borowitz Report for newyorker.com.

Happy Birthday, Jason! You are a wise man. I hope you have a wonderful celebration.
Oh, and happy birthday to you too, Linda. I had a friend that would celebrate her own birthday by making her Mom a cake. When I asked her why her Mom got a birthday cake she'd say it was simple. It was her Mom that gave birth that day so she deserves the birthday cake. It was her Mom's birth day. lol. When you think about it...
I've been blessed to have my share of interesting and amazing friends in my life. Including you gals!
Everybody else have a very merry un-birthday today! I've been trying to stay away from politics. Just starting to feel better, why ruin it?
Anne, too funny. It could be real though.
Joyce, have fun with your new laptop. It's always fun having new toys. Especially one's that work. lol.
