Anetta, so glad to hear your nutritionist lifted your spirits! Progress, not perfection, right? Been thinking of you while crafting lately. It's so much more fun to craft with others.
Pat, yes, we have snow and bitter cold here! Remember, it is Chigago!! The Windy City. Your ball exercise sounds intriguing. I don't use mine enough. Kudos on your progress, you are da bomb girl!
Susanne, I suffer from perfectionism also. It's something I have to work on regularly. I sure hope you can get to the bottom of your poor tummy issues.
We're still wrapping up lots of odds and end work here today. New carpet strip, lighting, new baseboards throughout the basement and a million other little things. Hopefully will be finished today. I'm having a party tom night and need to get some cooking done, then treat myself to a mani/pedi. My nails are trashed.

Good Morning!
I am feeling the stress, worried I am spinning my wheels, not doing things quickly enough or well enough. I think getting more sleep will help everything, especially my perspective. This will be my priority today:, keeping perspective and winding down to get more sleep.

Hello friends! Thank you all for the hugs and well wishes. I'm taking it easy today, tapering down on the Prednisone. So glad I made soup a couple of days ago, just had a big nourishing bowl of it. Lisa I love your elf avatar! It's so you. Carol, hang in there during this hectic time. Anetta I loved your Hawaiian affirmation from yesterday. ♥ Suzanne, I hope the Youtube yoga videos can help you. Some of the free stuff is amazing! Waves to Michelle out there, and Pam too! Daily Affirmation - I love and accept myself for who I am ( thought pursuits) Fitness Report - a much reduced MOG workout - it was not my regular guy, Kevin, a new girl who is not as good. Health Goal - move about, do some of the gentler PT exercises, perhaps a meditation on my lazy day. Gratitude - having sick days to use.

Lisa, I've missed connecting with you! Ditto on Pat's comment about your new avatar...so cute and festive!! Yes, ANY effort and progress are good so I'll keep doing what I'm doing. I've been reading about the viciously cold weather in the Chicagoland area and hoping that your reno hasn't been adversely affected by it. Hope the wrap-up goes well today!
Carol, I'm sending calming energy in your direction to help push away the stress! I agree, getting enough rest makes it easier to deal with the sometimes chaotic pace of the holiday season. Rest well and have a good day!

Hi to Michelle!
I got a good report from the doctor -- my BP is back within normal range and glucose and cholesterol numbers have improved. His only suggestion is to continue working on shedding more pounds to reduce the risk of developing full-blown diabetes. I told him that I am trying!!
Daily Affirmation - Optimum health is within my grasp! Fitness Goal - Another day of functional steps...rain, rain, go away! Although we do need it because of the drought. Health Goal - Mindfulness about carbs/protein/fat ratio for today's meals and sufficient hydration. Gratitude - Determination to keep moving forward regardless of short-term results.

Good Afternoon, Lovely Angels:
We got 3-4 inches of snow overnight and its bitter-cold. It is especially beautiful if you don't have to go anywhere.
Lisa: I love your avatar. You inspired me to change mine for the season. Enjoy your weekend party.
Carol: I could have written your post, especially "not doing things quickly enough or well enough". I am my own worst critic. I have to accept that I can't get it all done and that will be okay. Our health is most important - physical and mental health!
Pat: Keep up the healing. Your hard work is inspirational.
I had a check-in appointment with doc's office this morning for anxiety and IBS. We both are in agreement that the anxiety is making the IBS worse. And then, if I eat a food that makes my gut unhappy or if I eat too much of a good thing (like fiber), all goes downhill (not literally). It really hard to switch from the WW-friendly plan to something that is lower in fiber and meets all the other criteria for IBS-friendly foods (not too much fiber, no dairy, no soy, blah, blah, blah.) I'm cutting coffee out as of today. I like it but I can do without it.
To all, an affirmation Anetta gave us long ago: "My body is my oldest friend and constant companion - we argue sometimes, but I forgive my friend and do my best to heal her and bring her peace."
Daily Affirmation: I love and accept myself for who I am. (Thanks, Pat) Fitness Goal: 30 minutes minimum of yoga Health Goal: Heal myself. Gratitude: Its Friday.

I am what I concentrate on. Thoughts are things. Quit whining!--Now there's some self talk that I need to hear. Today I have been saying to myself "I am not going to listen to you". This is a very powerful sentence for me to get me back on track. Blah, Blah Blah turns then turns into a positive uplifting day.
Go team!!!!!!!!!
Just love this time of year!
