We are maintainers who want to share accountability. This is a daily thread, but you’re welcome to post daily, weekly, or whenever it suits you. Share your weigh-in, or your progress in maintenance, or just stop in and say hello. Whoever shows up first for the day is welcome to start the thread.
Our focus is on our determination to maintain our weight goals. For some of us, just checking in to say “I’m here” means that we’re being mindful of our plan, that we’re accountable to ourselves and that we want to share that with others who are doing the same.

santex,, I was sort of getting Freestyle to work by switching to maintenance and choosing a daily points allowance somewhere between maintenance points and losing points. As long as I stayed at that limit I lost weight. But I still have trouble staying in that limit. On the other hand, when I was traveling I lost 2 pounds in a week without trying because I was eating much less (I was so busy doing stuff that I didn't really stop to eat as much as I do at home) and I was walking a whole lot. I've been trying to keep this up at home, but I haven't been very successful at it. Did you see the thread about Freestyle in the General Discussion on this board?

susan092907, I think that my problem with it is the disconnect between points and actual calories consumed. I was already eating most of the foods that are now free, so when I add points on top of that, I'm not losing. It's just too many calories. Yes, I have been reading the thread about Freestyle and I'm glad to know that I'm not alone. All of the Beyond the Scale stuff is great, but my doctor is all about the scale, and I need to lose about 10 pounds.
