TOOT, TOOOOT! CHUG, CHUG, CHUG! Here comes the Train to Thinsville down the track and into your station so hop on board and enjoy the ride.
This morning it was 71Âş and going up to 85Âş with scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially early in the day. Winds will be WSW at 5-10 mph.
I’m happy to say that I’m feeling much better today. Yesterday I couldn’t eat much but what I did eat looked and tasted good. By supper time I was feeling a lot better and made myself a cheese omelet that tasted very good.
MJ found out yesterday that Sarah was placed in the room with all the autistic children “because there wasn’t space anywhere else” which is hard to believe. Hannah said one of the boys in her class took her aside in the hallway and pointed out all the boys she needed to avoid because they were ghetto kids – and apparently very tough. He warned her not to touch any of them or they will react violently. They still hadn’t figured out where to put Rachael, so MJ just pulled all three girls out of school.
MJ got word yesterday that we have been court ordered to return to Nebraska since King wants joint custody of the girls now. It will be interesting to see how that works. He has yet to make any kind of child support payment that was also court ordered.
We have decided the move wasn’t the best idea for us anyway. We plan to go back to Nebraska and see if we can work out something for the girls at the schools they attended there. They don’t start as early in August as the schools here and we hope we can make this work. We will need to find a place to live in Lincoln and hope some of our friends there have some suggestions for us. MJ and Hannah are hoping jobs will be more plentiful there too.
We are leaving today for the trip back and we hope to enroll the girls in the schools they were going to before we left. We will drop off the dogs to be boarded. I plan to take my computer with me for the few days we are gone, so I can keep up with everyone.
MAXINE CALENDAR: Thurs 8/9: Let’s just say I’m “hold-up-the-checkout-line” years old.
PEANUTS CALENDAR: Thurs 8/9: Riddle: What has holes all over it but still holds water?
(answer: a sponge)
