Good morning all,
Temperature today will be 87* breezy and sunny. And the humidity is down. So it should be a nicer day today. We did get rain during the night last night. I heard it just before I went to bed and we did have some thunder too. I can take the rain overnight.
I got my hair cut yesterday at Penny's and also did a little shopping. I had to take off my wedding and engagement rings last week because the arthritis in my knuckle is growing and I didn't want them to get stuck on my finger and have to be cut off. So I was looking for a new wedding band that my husband could get for my birthday on the 21st. I asked the girl to size my finger. My 6.5 ring size has to be an 8 to get over my knuckle. I did see a couple rings that I liked. After I got my hair done, I went through the cheaper jewelry department and there were a couple bands that I liked and they were on sale for $7 and $8 so I bought them. So now my finger doesn't feel so funny. And I do have to decide whether I want to spend the money for a band that I may outgrow in the next year again. Maybe I should just keep buying the cheap bands.
I have a doctor's appointment today at 2:15 so I have to leave here at 1:30. I feel like all I do is go to doctors. And tomorrow is the dentist. But that should be the last one until January unless I need some adjustments to the plate.
Have a good one.

I might order one of qvc brands. they have some not so expensive ones.
I had to have my rings cut off years ago because of weight gain.
mary I also like b&b fun frosted cranberry and winter's apple lotions.
my plan was to get down in the sewing room and get things cleaned up. I will do some before I have to leave.

I’ve been gathering things today for my week at the lake, specifically towels and toiletries. I need to bring my own towels plus some for the group to use. Whatever towel is nearest the sink gets used by all and they get wet and dirty often. I also bring some for the kitchen. DD also brings some from their mobile there, but she shouldn’t have to bring them all. Lots of fishing is done, so lots of hand washing is done!
My 2 rings are attached, but because of losing weight they are very loose. I have to be very careful when washing my hands for they could slip off easily. I don’t want to have them made smaller because then they’d be tight if I gain. My knuckles are still good. My arthritis is in my back. Hopefully it stays out of my hands, but one never knows.

It's not the best drying day I've ever had - high humidity - but I washed clothes anyway. I can always fall back on the dryer if I have to. Yesterday ended up being a gorgeous day. This morning I remembered that because we are on DST, around 9:00 when the morning finally clears & then it is really 8 by sun.
Boo-hoo, hoo. The baby bluebirds left & as I expected I did not see them go. They were still in the house at dusk last night but gone when I got up. I spent much of yesterday watching them so now I can get some work done:)
Nine years ago yesterday my DGS, Erik died. Sure doesn't seem that long ago & he is still missed by everyone. DD had several pictures in memory of him on FB this morning.
I got to water my gardens today, plus my friend Linda's flower baskets & another campers rose bushes. Not many of us stay here all the time so I try to help my closest neighbors by watering their plants when they are gone for an extended number of days. I don't always like doing it but I would appreciate if someone would do the same for me if needed, so I offered to do theirs.
I've been out walking once this morning but will go again later. I need to increase my number of steps per day as long as I can tolerate it. So far, so good.
