Good morning! We luckily had a rain yesterday afternoon, about 1/2", which cooled our temps and watered my lawn. The humidity was high this morning but I got my 2-mile walk in. We may get a little more rain today but less chance for that. @beckyw2016, I hope you get some of this rain. I didn't realize how dry you've been.
The pork tenderloin was great last night. I'm slicing up the leftover pork tonight to put over a big salad. Too hot for much cooking.
No other plans today but DH will be watching Nascar this afternoon. I plan to read a book I started and relaxing some. I've got the grands tomorrow and Tuesday so I'm preparing for them.
Have a good day, y'all!

Good morning linda72 , DebDoesWW , and AWF. It has continued to be hot here—I can always count on it being 5 to 10 degrees higher than the morning forecast. But right now it is 62 and I'm enjoying having the patio door open. Thankfully the air quality has been okay the past few days. Tonight is Dinner in Provence class at Sur La Table ( Steak Au Poivre with Brandy and Mustard Sauce - Grilled Fingerling Potato Salad with Bacon and Dijon-Tarragon Vinaigrette - Honey Lavender Ice Cream). I need to do some pre-planning of next week's menu so I'll be set to hit the ground running. I hope everyone has a great day. KOKO.

Hot and humid here. But that is our normal pattern. Hoping to get some golf in before possible afternoon showers.
But first, going to hear DGD sing in the children's choir for her first time, she is very excited

I'm glad Linda and Deb got rain yesterday. We got 2 tenths but thankful for that.We still have a 60% chance of isolated rain today though and hoping to get some more rain. linda72 We weren't as dry as the Hill Country was before they got their 3-4" the last couple of days but we are really dry.Trees are dying. I knew something was up yesterday when it went from 97 degrees to 75 degrees and then it started thundering. Have a great Sunday everyone.

It was ghastly humid in the middle of the day, then a welcome strong breeze blew in about 3:30...a welcomed relief.
