Happy Day All!
Started a thread and lost it. Drat!
So....don't have time to start personals again. Have to go with DH to take his car BACK to the shop and run by the post office. DDIL is coming today to help me clean out and better organize my kitchen cupboards. I don't know what's come over me lately! No, I didn't vacuum yesterday, but bet she does today. Oh - I made fig cake for the first time with our very own figs. Yummy.
Cheers to all - will try to check back later.

Good Morning All
Dayle - So nice of you to help the friend of your SIL on managing the estate. The right questions are so important.
Betty - Bet Ozzie got worn out playing with his new friend. Patrick always worn out when he comes from the groomer. So many others to watch.
Penny - My kitchen could use organizing help from your DIL. She wont even need to vacuum.
A surprise visit from DGS yesterday and he came bringing groceries. He loves to cook. He brought the ingredients and made mac and cheese with chorizo - from scratch. Delicious and of course I ate too much.
Working on the messy book shelfs today.
Everyone have a Magical Monday.

Good morning everyone,
It's fun to hear some of you are jumping on the daily project bandwagon. It's great. Does not take long and really keeps house nice without getting exhausted. Those of you with cleaning ladies don't have as much of a need to do this. Yes, Phyl as I get older it's better to do a little something almost every day than a whole day cleaning. Some daily extra projects only takes 20 minutes and others take an hour. The best part is the pleasure of seeing the house clean.
Todays project is cleaning front door and screen door.
Went out out to a Mexican restaurant last night for dinner. Interesting I only ate 1/2 my dinner and was totally full. Normally I eat it all and chips. This fiber is definitely making a difference on hunger. Will eat rest tonight for dinner since hubby is going to a dodger game with friends.
Today is 5th dose of 1/8 teaspoon of fiber. No more bloating and seems to agree with me. No IBS episodes since starting it. Will not increase dose unless need to.
Penny- a fig cake sounds delicious.

Good morning Penny & ATF,
Today is another rainy day. It will be heavy at times. Currently it's 73; the high will be 78. We have had so many flooded areas in NJ since Saturday. DS, Tom, is concerned because the car dealer where he works may be flooded by Tuesday when the Passaic River peaks.
I'm watching the boys today as DD had to go to a workshop for school till this afternoon. I hope I have no problems going home later. Lucky for her it is local.
Have a great day!

Morning All!
As Emily said another rainy day here. This weather pattern really is a crummy one and I wish it would go away. I feel sorry for any family who planned a week’s vacation at the shore or any other outdoor activity. Renting shore houses are not cheap and it can be tortuous in a small house with kids in the rain. Lily had another bout of diarrhea last night, so we will continue on the antibiotics until they are done and hopefully that will cure the problem. She managed to hit all the Potty pads I put down, so thankfully clean up wasn’t traumatic. It could have been a whole lot worse. I do feel for her, poor munchkin. She wasn’t happy about it, for sure.
I’m kind out of sync with my days right now. With the cleaning lady coming on Friday instead of Thursday, that put my linen washing back a day, which pushed back my regular laundry until today.
Peggy Sue glad you got a surprise visit from DGS and dinner too – wow! Sounds delicious! Wish someone would offer to cook for me!
Spent a couple of hours placing a grocery order for delivery tomorrow. I try to space out my orders to about every 6 weeks then fill in at the veggie store. I’m missing my coffee this morning cause I’ve run out of dairy and have never been able to drink it black. I’ve been trying to stretch out my time between orders and use up what’s here. That makes for some lopsided meals! I think cousin might be coming this weekend, so I need to have some food here for him.
Well must get going. Emily enjoy your day with the boys and be careful- a lot of flash flooding around lately.
Everyone have a good day!

Good morning, everyone. not sure about a pool day today as it is mostly cloudy and I am without energy, but that may be just the day to go float in the pool.
Have plans for tomorrow and looking forward to seeing friends from high school. At our Alumni Banquet we decided to try to plan lunch in between our homes to meet for lunch. Will work until winter sets in.
Calli woke me up at 9:30 this morning out of a sound sleep and was glad she did as after that I start having weird dreams. Picked up the house and plan on running sweeper in living room and hallway. I do it in two different times as running sweeper gives me back ache. Only thing that does.
I am going to have to take my bed spread to the laundromat. It is very heavy and is a fake quilt. My washer would not be able to do it. I hate going there but it is near by and clean place not like some. Not today but soon. Will see if my friend needs her's to go. That way someone to visit with while we are waiting. Will have to use the dryer as well. I just ordered a new clothes line yesterday, I hate my cord one. it just keeps stretching out. My DSIL is going to have to put this one up and ordered the kit with all the fasteners.
they had offer on house and we will be anxiously waiting for the inspection!!
Mar, glad that the fiber stuff is working. Hooray!!
Can hear the high school band playing an actual song this morning. this is the 2nd week of band camp at the school. Also been seeing the drill team working out and the cheer leaders as I drive by. I live up the hill from the school and the sound carries up this way most of the time. I enjoy it.

Nothing to report, you all have a great day.

Thought you would like to know----
I had a call in to Gramy Pat's DH Doug and he did call me back just a little bit ago.
they had a celebration of life for Pat yesterday and he said it was very nice.
He is doing well, Doug is a busy guy and he is still playing tennis etc. Feeling good. The fires are about 85 miles from him and very smoky He said would be nice to see the sky, Hoping to have the fires near him taken care of by Sept. 65 years of marriage and he is dealing the best he can.

Everybody sounds busy.
With 20% chance of rain forecast, we had a nasty storm in Tempe after supper last night with lightning setting fire to one house and 58mph winds ripping the roof of another...on,y five miles away. The second round at 10:30 hit Chandler hard south of me.. two huge eucalyptus trees went over in the little park four houses away and lots were in the street in Chandler. Ground is saturated from the week and creeks that were dry are running hard. A teenager drive his family car into a flooded street in spite of signs....just managed to escape. Car filled up with mud over the hood. Total loss. Another person's car flipped over and he drowned. Eight inches of running water can carry a car away.
walked Micki half mile since it was only 90 with 44% humidity around 10:30. Then went to the mall to buy the black version of the tan one I bought last week before they are gone. Hate $$ but they will kast long time and finally fit right!
Making Chicken enchiladas for supper with leftover rotisserie one from Costco.

Connie, fingers crossed for DD bid on house. Hope it all goes well.
Lin, that picture is down right scary. Storms across the country have been outrageous.
