TOOT, TOOOOT! CHUG, CHUG, CHUG! Here comes the Train to Thinsville down the track and into your station so hop on board and enjoy the ride.
This morning in Lincoln it was 67º and going up to 91º with intervals of clouds and sunshine with winds SSE 10-15 mph.
We had breakfast in the lobby again this morning and are packed and ready for the trip back to Mississippi.
Yesterday afternoon MJ picked up Rachael who had stayed overnight with a friend in Lincoln and then we had a light supper and relaxed for the evening.
This morning we will leave for the return trip to Mississippi and to get things packed up to bring here.
Late in the afternoon yesterday Hannah found an ad that was placed for a house for rent. MJ called, and we have an appointment to go and look at it this morning before we leave. The man was OK with having our three dogs in the house. We drove past the house and it looks clean and nice and it has a fenced in yard. We hope this will work out.

Good morning Doris & ATF,
Today is another rainy day. It will be heavy at times. Currently it's 73; the high will be 78. We have had so many flooded areas in NJ since Saturday. DS, Tom, is concerned because the car dealer where he works may be flooded by Tuesday when the Passaic River peaks.
I'm watching the boys today as DD had to go to a workshop for school till this afternoon. I hope I have no problems going home later. Lucky for her it is local.
Hope the house turns out to be a good choice for all of you.
Have a great day and safe trip back to Mississippi.

Good morning!
Great news, Doris! Hope this house works out. Bet you can make this one work for you! You will be doing a lot of traveling, so I'll be praying for your safety. You shouldn't have very much to pack up, at least. Prayers continue for your situation.
Today will be in the 80s. We will be very busy. We have already been to DH's doctor, I've had my nails done, DH has gone to pick up groceries, and I am home waiting for the exterminator to arrive. Then we will leave. We plan to go out for lunch to celebrate our 54th anniversary. When we get home, we'll nap. Nothing else is on our agenda.
Have a happy day! Diane

That Hannah! She's amazing, even finding a place that could work out. Hope it was good. So many people are praying for you. Our job is still working onthe peaches and this morning after the Y I picked up two more 25 pound lugs at Super Saver.

Am I the only one who didn't know what a Lug was? Okay I googled it. Now I know.
the rest of the peaches I get going to just eat them. I wash them and eat them skin and all. Same with apples, never peel them when I eat them. thinking I need more tomatoes and cucumbers as well. Will check with DDs to see if either one of them need any veggies from the stand.

Connie, I might not have known, but my parents bought lugs of fruit in season, and my mother did a lot of canning. The colorful ads on the ends of the lug boxes were a big collectible item.
Safe travels between NE MS and back to NE for our friends on the road.
