Somewhat busy day today. Bobbie's DD came and cut Jim's hair - she is a beautician. I took the stitches out of Shana from her being spayed. My DSon held her bottom and my DGSon held her head and top. We put her on a floor mat on the kitchen counter top and I was able to remove them with no probs. She had picked up a chew toy at my DS's house and it was one their dogs don't play with so my DS gave it to Shana and she is so proud of it. Then, my tenant's dog came in and stole it. We laughed so hard and got it back for Shana of course. Shana was busy chasing him around to get it. Sooooo funny!
Nancy: Bobbie's dog is home but still in pain -- On pain meds until they get the test results back. I used to get the high steps in too as you remember. Walking on the ranch makes a big difference. Even with walking Shana I have a little less than 4,000 today. Sandy: Our lives are so much in our heads....How you remember telling Fred not to bet on the last race....LOL! I'm cracking up at DERF.....cute! Let's get into our circle of wagons now and sing by the fire "WE CAN DO THIS, YES WE CAN...WE CAN LOSE NEW POUNDS...MY THIN FRIENDS!"

Hi everyone thanks for the start Kathie. Sounds like you and Jim had a great day with Shana, family and a haircut. I'm glad that I get my 10,000 in each day. That's one of the things that gets me going. Hope that Harriet's pain has lessened.
Sandy I was the same as you when my DH was alive. We both loved the horses and were amazed at how beautiful they were. WOW! What a thing to have lost $100. Sam and Maija sound like a perfect couple. Sounds like you had a great day and your family was busy.
I had a good day yesterday but had to walk around the complex at 4 to get my 11083 steps in yesterday. Today I'll dance and go to the music at Hickory Park. My friend Carol will be the entertainer. Have a great day! hugs and blessings to us all! See you in the morning

Dinner was nice last night but weight is really up this morning! I think Sam enjoyed himself and the two little ones Maija has been babysitting insisted they had to be near her so were very entertaining and very good. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and one grand nephew with his wife and 18 month old son were there. He had just returned from deployment on July 4th so it was good to see him and know he's home safe. Fred's oldest sister wasn't able to make it but is coming to town Sunday to see the youngest sister before she heads back to Portland. The oldest sister's birthday was the 15th and it had been hoped to celebrate her birthday as well but we will do that Sunday and this time it's just the youngest sister, oldest sister, Fred and me so a much smaller group. So I guess tomorrow I'll WI and take my lumps at the scale and do the dinner Sunday night and then really buckle down and get back to really watching points and since it'll be cooler get out walking again like Fred and I were doing before the heat and humidity started. So at least I'm putting a plan in place and will stick to it, no more excuses as the number I saw on the scale this morning was one I haven't seen in a while and was not good!
