It's easy to get discouraged, but remember even two steps forward and one step back is progress, and just look how far you have already come. You are almost there!!
Thanks for all the great soup recipes, I can't wait to try them, they all sound great!!! I can't decide which one to make first.
I have been seeing so much chatter about the 2 ingredient bread. It is even featured in the last copy of WW magazine. They have wonderful looking little apple pies on the cover & inside they have breakfast calzones. The pie crusts and the calzone crust are both made with the bread. People are making bagels & everything else you could think of. It is just equal parts of self-rising flour & non-fat greek yogurt.
Have any of you tried the dough?
If so, what have you made with it?
What other simple WW ideas do you have to share?
Any old WW ideas (from yrs past) that you still use, share?
What practices has WW done away with, that you wish they would adopt again?

Have any of you tried the dough? No...have seen it online but have not tried it.
If so, what have you made with it? Nothing
What other simple WW ideas do you have to share? Just googled and found:
I usually just make things using what I have at home. One of the links above mentioned pasta with fresh vegetables and that is really good, too. Easiest is to take a carb, protein, veggies and or fruit then come up with a sauce or tsp of olive oil with seasonings and lemon or vinegar and call it a meal.
Any old WW ideas (from yrs past) that you still use, share? Record everything you eat - every BLT What practices has WW done away with, that you wish they would adopt again? *Maintenance group before meetings (they had it when I reached goal but stopped it at some point, I think) *GHG's - kind of like tracking exchanges *not sure since I don't know what they are doing now
FUN: How old were you when you earned your first paycheck? *Not sure...know that I "worked" at school as a checker at the cafeteria and graded for a typing teacher in HS but think what I did went toward tuition so no paycheck and when I went to camp as a counselor think I did it for free... One summer we helped collate and staple booklets for a printing company and I did some work for a church based business. I babysat from 12 or 13 years of age but not a paycheck... Hmm... First real paycheck was probably after my first year of nursing school when I spent the summer working as a nurse's aid and shared an apartment with a friend.

Have any of you tried the dough? ** I have read about it but have not tried it. It is on my to do list.
If so, what have you made with it? ** Not sure what I would make first.
What other simple WW ideas do you have to share? ** Even though I'm not a member of WW any more, I still journal.
Any old WW ideas (from yrs past) that you still use, share? ** Learning satisfaction and trying hard not to go beyond.
What practices has WW done away with, that you wish they would adopt again? ** I wish they would put more emphasis on learning to eat only what you need (satisfaction).
FUN: How old were you when you earned your first paycheck? ** I guess I was 18. I graduated from high school and turned 18 in July, then went to work in the fall as secretary for the principal of my high school. I made probably about $150 a month, and my first paycheck I cashed and got a $100 bill because I had never seen nor held one before.

I have only tried the dough for crusts for cobblers, I have not taken the time to roll it out & really make anything out of it. For the cobbler crust, it is quite tasty. I add just a little water so that I can pour it into my baking pan.
This is a very simple idea that doesn't have anything to do with food, but parking in the first parking spot you come to when you go to a store, is a great idea, it not only saves you time & gas from circling the parking lot, it gives you exercise, because usually you won't find a spot near the door on your first time around.
I can't believe that they have done away with the fact that we need dairy products every day. There is also no emphasis on getting any oil in the diet. Skim milk is now 3 sps for an 8 oz serving, I only get 23 sps per day, so that's a chunk out of it.
FUN: Believe it or not, I spent my 14th birthday washing dishes in a restaurant. The restaurant was down the street from our house, so I could just walk there. My birthday is in June, so school was out for the summer. I made 50 cents per hr. I have no idea what I did with my first paycheck.

Have any of you tried the dough? When it first "came out" many people on the WW facebook group made it. I haven't tried it yet, but keep meaning to give it a shot.If so, what have you made with it? People on facebook make it into pizza, bagels, hand pie crusts, etc. What other simple WW ideas do you have to share? I park farther away from stores, drink lots of liquids, still dip my fork into my salad dressing instead of pouring on in.What practices has WW done away with, that you wish they would adopt again? I agree that I wish they had kept the GHG. I haven't ever been to a meeting that had a lifetime member group before/after the regular meeting but that would be really helpful.FUN: How old were you when you earned your first paycheck? My first "real" job was sorting cherries one summer (I think I was 16 years old) at a cherry processing plant. We only worked for about 4-6 weeks, but it was so cool to actually get a paycheck.
Thanks Beverly for hosting this week. I have my question all ready to post for tomorrow.

I’ve not tried the 2 ingredient dough. I still use the ghg when I track. I also still get dressing on the side and dip. Thanks for the reminder Jan. Thanks for hosting this week Beverly. .

Have any of you tried the dough? Apparently, I have not been paying attention! (and I thought I'd read every page of the latest WW magazine). I hadn't heard of that recipe until now.
If so, what have you made with it? Haven't heard of it!
What other simple WW ideas do you have to share? I guess I'd say that it can, indeed, be simple. No need to make complex meals or such, unless you wish to.
Any old WW ideas (from yrs past) that you still use, share? Good Health guidelines.
What practices has WW done away with, that you wish they would adopt again? There used to be quite a few more meetings. The times currently are not the most convenient for me, I think I might go if there were more convenient times. Granted, my schedule is unusual, so...probably not happening, and I'm thankful there are still meetings!
FUN: How old were you when you earned your first paycheck? Probably 16 or 17? My mom worked in housekeeping at a motel and I'd work there too during summer when they were short of help and needed someone.
