No question, just a place to stop by and check in and tell us how your weekend is going. If you didn't see Saturday's thread, it's title starts off "no excuses".
I will be back in the morning to comment on Saturday and Sundays's threads.

Good morning to all, getting pretty concerned about Cathy, anybody heard from her?
Great weekend all.

Oh....sorry. I did indeed miss the Saturday thread.
For Saturday:
The "Hate exercise" would be the main excuse. And the answer is to keep trying. As I've mentioned, I did enjoy aerobic dance and step aerobic classes at a gym when that was the "thing" (25 to 30 years ago?) and when I was at the gym, I also used other equipment, such as treadmills, rowing, steppers and weight machines. The attraction? Honestly, it does also tie in to one other excuse listed - the time available. Simply did not have a lot else going on in life at that time.
So, I need to keep trying to find something I like and something that fits into small amounts of time. And be willing to adapt and change, I think, is also a big part of this.
Sunday - Not much happening here today (hey! If I knew what I'd love to do, I'd have time to work out!). Volunteering this afternoon and that's about all that is required today.

Quick check in.
Cathy still has no internet service. She has checked in on fb. Hopefully it will be up tomorrow.
Weβre home from the market and looking forward to lunch with Mom and sisters. Have a great day everyone.

I didn't even answer on yesterday's thread
I have an excuse all ready for why I am not getting much exercise on Mondays (starting Sep 10). Instead of going to my regular Monday night zumba class, I start a Bible study that goes every Monday (except for 3 in December) until the 2nd week of May. That gives me the perfect excuse, right ? However, if I want to keep my 10,000 steps/day streak alive (almost 2 years now), I will need to figure it out. Instead of sitting at my desk during my Monday lunch hours, I will need to get off my butt and take a walk (either outside weather permitting or in the nearby mall), go to the gym and walk on the treadmill or ?
Today was our church's outdoor service and potluck. Our church is set in about 10 acres of lovely grass and trees almost like a park setting. I took a couscous dish with riced cauliflower, chopped marinated green olives, celery, cucumber, pistachios, carrots, parsley. It was really tasty and I was happy to see a little bit left so I can have it for lunch tomorrow.
I have just come in from doing a bit of weeding in the garden.
See you all on Monday.

I went to a not quite all day religious school teachers workshop today, followed by a meeting of the teachers in one of the Sunday Schools where I teach. The first one was FABULOUS! and the second one was TERRIFIC!! My DS and DGS are still here and won't be leaving until Tuesday morning, so I get another whole day with them. I'm a happy camper!
