Not a big fan of pumpkin drinks, but I DO like Starbucks pumpkin bread (or anyone's pumpkin bread, for that matter). I am all about the baked goods when it comes to pumpkin, especially breads, muffins, and cookies. But not pumpkin pie, for some reason.

No Starbucks for me, either. However, I did love my Pumpkin Spice Cheerios, until I discovered that the oats might be grown in fields that used Roundup to control weeds and/or to dry the grain before harvesting! Good grief, is nothing sacred? You should try Pumpkin spice Life cereal, it blows Cheerios out of the water! But I will warn you it is super hard to find because it is always sold out.

I love pumpkin stuff! That Life cereal sounds good. I've only had regular coffee from starbucks and I only go when I have a gift card. I love the SF coffee mate pumpkin spice creamer or either pumpkin flavored coffee. Pumpkin bread is good too. I really need to try pumpkin fluff because I never have LOL...how many times did I say pumpkin in this post ??

Never tried it and don't imagine I will. I don't really like pumpkin flavor.

itsrad, gottakeeptryin, I told you we could do better! Rad, the cheesecake is tempting, but then cheesecake is an essential vitamin in my book.

Here's the pumpkin bran muffin recipe I mentioned. www.womansday.com/food-recipes/food-drinks/recipes/a12239/pumpkin-bran-muffins-recipe-wdy1013/We love these muffins. The amount of buttermilk is 2/3 cup since the amount is missing for some reason. I don't bother with the orange cream. Instead I add the zest from 1 large orange. Marlene Koch has a delicious Pumpkin Spice Cake (pumpkin angel food) in one of her books. My son loves it. Angel food cake is great because it doesn't need frosting.

One more pumpkin recipe. This pudding is as close as I get to pumpkin fluff. It tastes like the inside of a pumpkin pie. You can use the sugar free vanilla pudding but it has to be the cook & serve.
Pumpkin Pudding
1/2 can pumpkin (7 1/2 ounces) 1 1/2 cups milk small box cook & serve vanilla pudding 1 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp ginger 1/8 tsp cloves
Whisk everything together. Microwave until thickened, stirring occasionally.

I went to the grocery store yesterday and pumpkin spice EVERYTHING was out. Including pumpkin spice dog treats. I think it's total overkill and makes me grumpy. Bah humbug! But I do love my pumpkin spice cake with cream cheese frosting. Only when it's chilly out though.

The Halloween candy displays were out also this week. Because I need that in the house for two months. pumpkin spice EVERYTHING was out. I'm sure Trader Joe's looks like a pumpkin exploded in it. They go overboard every year.
