The news announced that Starbucks in bringing out its Pumpkin Spice Latte today.
Since I'm not much of a coffee drinker and it's 98 degrees here, I really don't care.
But I know people that live for their pumpkin spice and others that can't stand it.
which side of the great pumpkin debate are you on?

I'll pass on the pumpkin latte but I adore pumpkin. I bake pumpkin bran muffins once fall arrives. I ignore all the pumpkin spice food in the grocery store.

Love baked goods made with pumpkin---that cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, and clove flavor combo. It just screams FALL, my favorite season.
And OMG my favorite ice cream place has the BEST pumpkin ice cream!!!
Not a fan of Starbucks so I will pass on the pumpkin spice latte. I've had pumpkin spice beer and to this day I am not sure I liked it but I drank three of them.

Well, I was sure this was the Pumpkin Fluff thread.
I vote no to pumpkin, except in pie or bread, and on my porch on Oct. 31.

I will eat pumpkin "in season" (pie, oatmeal - stuff like that).
August 27 is not "in season".
100*+ is not "in season".
And all the fake-y stuff is not worth it, IMO.

It is too early for pumpkin. I’ll wait until October. I’ve broken my Starbucks habit.

I doubt that I would like a pumpkin flavored drink. Also, drinks at Starbucks are just too expensive and high in sugar for my taste. I do like coffee/espresso drinks, but usually make them at home for a fraction of the price and "lightened" up in terms of fat and sugar.
I do like pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving, but not that many other pumpkin desserts/foods. Once I had a pumpkin cheesecake that was sort of yummy. This morning I ate an artificial pumpkin flavor light yogurt. It was yucky!

No Starbucks for me, either. However, I did love my Pumpkin Spice Cheerios, until I discovered that the oats might be grown in fields that used Roundup to control weeds and/or to dry the grain before harvesting! Good grief, is nothing sacred?

The news announced that Starbucks in bringing out its Pumpkin Spice Latte today. Since I'm not much of a coffee drinker and it's 98 degrees here, I really don't care. But I know people that live for their pumpkin spice and others that can't stand it. which side of the great pumpkin debate are you on? There are two sides to a coin—but at least three sides to this question. I've never tried a Pumpkin Spice Latte, or any of their other flavored offerings. 1) I like lattes with skim milk and Equal, nothing more. 2) I couldn't handle the sugar in those drinks and don't like sugar-free syrups' taste. 3) I'm just too damned cheap to pay the prices Starbucks wants for those drinks. Now, how cheap am I? I invented the poor man's latte: tall coffee served in a Vente cup with sweetener and 1 cup of NF milk added in. Yah, it's not HOT after adding that much milk, but it is the price of a cup of coffee!

OMG, itsrad, let's DO get the Pumpkin Fluff debate going. There are unanswered questions, like "How many Freestyle SmartPoints does a serving of Pumpkin Fluff cost?" "Is the pumpkin in fluff still zero points if you use a hand mixer? Or a blender?"
