I'm in. Pretty much unbreathable up here and what little breeze there is out there is only drawing the biting flies on to the beach. We released the 2 feral kittens this morning. Will try to get at least one or two more next week. Stay cool.

Good Morning.
Up real early again today to get outside chores and chicken work done before the sauna slams down on us. Still trudging along with the post-surgery dressings on the chicken feet and healing is coming along nicely and I don't foresee any need for pricey vet visits. Fingers (and chicken toes) crossed!
UGH on the weather. It is in the mid-eighties now with 80% humidity, going up to the nineties but this should be the last day of it.. Tiny breeze but it doesn't help.
Off to the showers and then a Costco and Walmart run. I'll toss a block of ice into the girls' waterer before we leave---they truly hate this weather too. Later it is a/c and not much else.
Wishing all a sweat-free peaceful day.

DebDoesWW just texted me. She had a big storm at her house yesterday and she lost power at her house. She will check in when she can. I live on the other side of Houston from Deb and I did not get that storm!

Coffee in! I could go for some move, but with students back, the line at Starbucks is WAY WAY too long! *sigh*
So, my phone call. I have to take a stupid pre-test to be sure I know my stuff. My admissions counselor did go to bat for me and appealed my case to 4 different people. but nope! they want me take this stupid test that they say will take 2-3 hours. Now come on! I have 5 business days to do it. So I have to try to squeeze it in around my work schedule and life. UGH!! So I doubt I get to start next week. (next start date is October).
Other than that, all is good!
I hope you all have a GREAT day! Positive energy to all!

Good morning all. I'm kind of shocked by all the excessive heat being reported on the news. What the *HELL* (literally) is going on with the weather. neen, that insanity just sucks. And causing your start to be delayed months is ridiculous. I'm sure you'll power through, but soooooo annoying for you. I have no plans for the day. Nada. But I guess I'll force myself to go out somewhere, like a mall, and do a little walking. The least I can do—literally. I wish everyone a great day, preferably a cooler one.

I’m in. Waiting for my cut and color appt. a good way to take care of myself. We were up early and got many boxes etc out for recycle and finished getting refrigerator cleaned out and last of the trash out. Some errands this afternoon. Positive vibes for everyone who can use them, esp Deb and Neen.

I’m backkkkkk *snort* linda72 are you SURE we live in the same town?!? Every time I text you to make sure you made it through a storm okay you are like “what storm?” Stop sending all of your bad weather my way dang it! Mike it was totally creepy, yesterday was the actual evacuation day last year. We had a wicked storm blow through, wild winds and trees down all over. Which took out some power lines. neen and they thought waiting until the last minute so you would miss the start date was a brilliant idea WHY? Idiots. Thank you for kicking us off diva49 , have a great day everyone and special birthday hugs to (((( dina ))))! Off to dump the fridge. 🤦♀️

Hubby and I ate one of my yummy go-to diet friendly breakfasts, then I was only a little hungry in the afternoon. Tonight I'm going to make homemade chicken fajitas with lots of veggies. It looks like I'll definitely stay within my eating goals for the day. I also already did a pretty good amount of exercise compared to usual.
