I keep 1-2 in the freezer for "just in case". Admittedly, I love the chicken enchilada suiza one lol -but I always have to have a salad with them because they're not very filling.

I only ever bought frozen "diet" meals on occasion in the past, and only for lunches (I don't always wish to cook just for myself or go out and search for healthful options). Most all frozen diet meals are lousy, in my opinion, and even though some are only in the 300 calorie plus range, they are a lot less food for 300 calories + than you can eat making your own tastier and more healthful concoctions. Honestly, I can easily see 50% or even more food on my own homemade lunch plate than a frozen food meal on a plate, and the frozen food is all refined carbs most of the time. Or if there is meat, it's so small that it's hard to find. And veggies in frozen meals often equate to two miniature broccoli flowerets and a micro speck of carrot. Low carb frozen meals seem a bit more substantial, but usually taste bad, too, and for some reason seem to have twice the fat content reasonably expected. I wonder if they add lard to their meals.
I generally only liked two frozen meals in the end. There was a Santa Fe Rice and Beans that was OK and a mock chicken pot pie that had fairly fresh tasting veggies and spaetzle-like dumplings in lieu of pie crust or puff pastry.

I love the chicken enchilada suiza one I didn't know they still made this one - it was one of the only Smart Ones I ever liked.

I've tried many of them, didn't like one. They all seem to have a lot of pepper.

I always thought people didn't lose well on frozen meals because the sodium content is so high. All the fluid retention. And almost any frozen meal, no matter what the brand, will have high amounts of sodium. Although we all know that sodium consumption can affect water retention, I assume that the normal body has a maximum amount of water it will retain—otherwise people who eat too much sodium each day would blow up and explode, no? So it seems to me that anyone eating a consistent diet of frozen foods would still realize weight loss each week through calorie deprivation. Of course, I don't like SmartOnes and Lean Cuisine well enough to put it to a test for any period of time.

So today, WW is owned by Kraft Heinz Company. No any more it doesn't. WW bought itself back as zazzles mentioned. I think it was by Artal, who then took it public again.

There is something called "water intoxication" that you can get if you drink too much water in too short a period of time. Hyponatremia I don't want to be around if bodies start exploding.

I've heard WW members talk about chugging gallons of water, and bragging about it as though it was a good thing. Drinking a lot of water just to drink it, and not in response to actual thirst, can flush out the body and cause problems with the sodium/potassium and electrolyte balance. Roz

squid, I drink a lot of water, but not all at once. LOL I DO live in the Desert Southwest, so drinking water here is a good thing. I doubt I drink more than 1 gallon a day though. Close, but not quite.

squid, hallian, I guess that's why, at the height of the "drink LOTS of water" craze, medical experts started saying it is unnecessary for most people to force water because the body will let you know when you need hydration. And folks also don't realize that the water in foods helps hydrate the body—make a soup? Yep, fluid in that. Eat a salad? Yep, fluid in the vegetables. Etc. I do NOT worry about me getting enough fluids, but I reject the "purist" theory that it must be pure water; I don't even know what pure water is—from a spring, distilled, filtered, municipal tap. As I've mentioned before, WW went from being "pure water" to "half water" to "all fluids count except alcohol." So I don't understand why so many leaders in meetings I've attended insist on still adding "but water is best" when they discuss hydration. In my mind, what's best is fluids that someone will actually ingest; if someone isn't a plain water type of person, then IMO it is better to drink diet soda, flavored water, coffee, etc., instead of NOT drinking anything because they find plain water a turnoff.
