Daily topic ideas leading up to a BBR:
How do you feel about a BBR in the week or two before it begins? What are your expectations, hopes and fears for the upcoming BBR? What do you plan to contribute/commit to during the upcoming BBR? What lessons have you learned and applied from the last BBR? What lessons have you learned but NOT applied, and why not, from the last BBR? Going into the next BBR, what stage of change are you currently at, and why?
Judy, I think the above, if you all agree, would be best placed in the 6 days leading up to the BBR Intro chapters, just my two cents...
For the week after a BBR finishes: (the below is pulled from the Beck blog)
Now that I have finished a BBR,
1. Here's what I have been doing incorrectly 2. Here's what I've been doing right 3. Here's what I'm committing to doing for the next month
Random topics for in between BBRs:
1. At what point does binging become an eating disorder, and when does seeking professional help become key?

Possible idea- Do you "save the good stuff for something special"? Like not using a good notebook, not using the good dishes or china, Etc.
Why? When are you special enough to use it?

Wondering if the reports are still coming in for the book review?
I just finished a Lynn Austin book "Return to Me" Very good. A Christian novel about the people leaving Babylon and returning to Israel to rebuild the city of Jerusalem

We do a book review of the book "The Beck Diet Solution" by Judith Beck three times a year. It is a book about using cognitive behavioral therapy to work on the mental side of losing weight and then maintaining the weight loss. Sometimes people mention other books about dieting, eating, nutrition, and exercise. We aren't a general book review thread. You might want to start a "What Are You Reading?" thread on the General Discussion board.

bbbearsmom, has there ever been a WI thread here in the BBR area? I'd love one for accountability but I don't care for the other areas of the board to do that. Has there ever been one here before? Maybe one ongoing thread where folks can post WI if they want to, or a weekly WI thread? Just wondering...

Judy, I'd like to know if anyone has found that they have had to eat less as their lifestyle/age changes?

I was thinking this might be worth discussing:
How have you changed your diet and exercise routines as you get older?
