nashville11, I get it. It's very hard to watch people we like act like lemmings as they're being led off a cliff!

CNN's president today said the JA doesn't understand the impact of his words. I think he was being kind. In the beginning I thought maybe he didn't understand, but I no longer think that. I think he knows exactly the impact of his words, and I think he chooses them and uses them deliberately. The impact is exactly what he wants.

JA...Liar SHS....Gaslighter What a pair!
I can't say I'm surprised by JA & SHS attacking CNN & the Press, but yet I am that they have come out so strong, so soon after yesterday's bomb threats. Disgusting!
Sarah Sanders @presssec .@realdonaldtrump asked Americans “to come together and send one very clear, strong, unmistakable message that acts or threats of political violence of any kind have no place in the USA” Yet you chose to attack and divide. America should unite against all political violence.

They are just all disgusting, and I believe they do it deliberately and calculatingly. They are in panic mode because they know Independents and any of the few sane Republicans that may still exist are watching. But anyone with even half a brain can clearly see that this is ALL due to the JA's hate speech. Yesterday I saw where Orrin Hatch said the president hasn't said anything wrong because he is being attacked so he is only attacking back. So clearly he has gotten drunk on the Kool-Aid. How does he fit that in with his Mormon faith? There are no words to describe this hypocritical enabling.

They should just print off thousands of copies saying, "It's all the media's and the Democrats' fault". Those could be passed out daily and save him from getting carpal tunnel from his Twitter account. We all know that no matter what happens, that is going to be the WH response.

CNN is interviewing Kasich. Why Republicans rejected him in favor of this JA I will NEVER understand.

What do they think (actually "do they think" is the better question) when the president and his staff all declare the free press "enemies of the state". They may not have used those specific words, but their language says the same thing.

Actually, JA has used those specific words "enemy of the people". I think at rallies & in tweets.
I saw the Katich as too. I'll ditto you, Joyce, I don't understand it either. I guess he just was mean, evil or vile enough to suit the GOP party. Plus, I'm sure they couldn't play him like a fiddle like they do JA.

What do they think (actually "do they think" is the better question) when the president and his staff all declare the free press "enemies of the state". They may not have used those specific words, but their language says the same thing. That's why I've decided that they do it deliberately. Nobody can be that stupid as to not understand the impact of that kind of language. So that must mean they are deliberately choosing to foster hate, division, and violence.
I don't approve of things such as Maxine Waters has said about harassing Republicans in public places, but when I hear Republican spokespeople on the news this morning trying to equate that with actually sending bombs to people, with the JA standing at the podium and telling his followers to "rough" people up it just makes me want to scream and throw up. Surely they can't really be so stupid as to think asking SHS to leave a restaurant is equivalent. They know better, they just choose to turn a blind eye to what the JA says, and those who speak about it choose to foster and spread the lies and hate. SHS sure didn't fall far from her family tree.

Yes, she did. She said she was sorry if she had offended me that she was only talking about politicians and not other Democrats. BS!! Sounds just like something the JA would say--"Oh, I really didn't mean it." But, no point in continuing the discussion with her. Nothing will cause her to see things any differently. She's put on a blindfold and ear plugs and like a good little lemming is following this JA right off the cliff. It baffles me because she is an intelligent woman, yet she can't see through this charlatan. She also considers herself to be a devout Evangelical, and I don't understand how she equates that with the morals of this JA or with the harsh rhetoric she uses about Democrats. I guess she must have skipped over the part about "Love your neighbor". (I don't use the word Christian here, not because I don't think she is Christian but because I think just like members of a political party are not the same not all Christians believe the same either, and too often Christians as a group get a bad rap for things that have nothing whatsoever to do with Christianity.)

Yes, she did. She said she was sorry if she had offended me that she was only talking about politicians and not other Democrats. Joyce, I saw this a few days ago. "Never waste your time trying to explain who you are to people who are committed to misunderstanding." I have a notebook next to me when I'm reading an article, a magazine, or a book. I write things down that are worth remembering. My Joyce makes fun of me. She says the reason it takes me so long to read anything is I spend as much time jotting things down than I do reading.

Thanks Rene for sharing the Op-Ed So true, but the sad part is JA will never understand how his words are an important part of this mess we are in now. He will just continue on his merry way using words to bring down & divide. He can't even use words to name those that have recieved these packages or the postal system workers who are in danger handling these packages.
I'm surprised Schumer & Pelosi haven't recieved a package yet.
