Spent a good part of the day in the kitchen. Made 2 batches of applesauce and 3 apple crisps. Of course one of the Apple crisps bubbled over in the oven so that was a mess to clean up. The applesauce tastes so good. No sugar added.
Not a very nice day. Gloomy so a good day to be inside. Ozzie and I did get our walks done. Over 5000 steps today.

hi owls,
I think the sun peeked out about 9.30 this morning for a very short while.rest of the day was overcast.
I really had fun with nita at sewing today.for once I did good and did not have to do alot of ripping out. yea,

Had a great day, decorated for an event at the senior center then out to an early dinner with friends. Garage door installers here in the AM. It will be good to have access for the car again.

Record rain here. The three days so far exceed the whole summer monsoon. Today was a doozywith a lot of street and s flooding and car accidents. Bunch of schools closed...more rain tonight.
we drop off Micki unsuspecting tomorrow morning. Come home and close things up to go to airport and fly to Vegas around 12:30...flight from there gets into Albany 11:30...long day and on the road 8:30 next day to the cape. Three hour difference will make it a bit hard. Should be nice though. Leaves are turning fast.

Hello everyone,
Busy day today. Went to doctor with DD#1 about her shoulder. Needs another surgery to clean out scar tissue. Hip hurts also, going in 2 weeks to specialist.
Visited with both girls all afternoon. They are out having fun tonight. We are dog sitting.
Went through more papers today. It's going well.
Well...ended up not liking the oil painting on wall behind stove. Back to the Wine a bit...you'll feel better plaque until I find something better.
Betty- apple crisp sounds good.
Lin- wow. Lots of rain. Still none over here. Have a fun trip
patti- I pray your eyes are ok. Let us know when you can how you are doing

Definitely need to make apple sauce when I get back. DSIL said lovely maple in the yard lost all its leaves in the bad storm today near Albany.
