I’m new to WW but I used to use myfitnesspal.
Am I seeing that fit points can’t be added to your daily food points? And if so, does someone know the reasoning? Just curious because I also want to make sure I’m not doing anything wrong on my app; thanks!!!!

Hi Mmbvt and welcome to the boads!
There is a baseline (usually 3) that you have to hit per day before they begin to swap them out.
Also the default is to not swap when they did the update. To change that go to profile > settings > food settings > swapping. And then set which you want to swap first, either weeklies or FitPoints.

I'm not sure which plan you're doing. This is what I was told by two different meeting leaders. The current Freestyle plan and WW app gives you a large number of FitPoints, more than it did on the old plan. If you used those as extra points to eat, you almost certainly would not lose weight. This is why they do not recommend swapping them for food points. You are supposed to get lots of them, to feel like you accomplished something or to feel good from the exercise. If I sound a little cynical, I am. I want a more immediate payback - like more food. I'm now doing PointsPlus with iTrackbites. That gives you fewer FitPoints per amounts of steps, but I do add those to my daily total of how much I can eat.
