No Excuses
* This is a daily thread for those who want to live by the philosophy that you CAN be ON PLAN EVERY DAY, whether you are doing SFT or counting points for ALL foods! * You aren't doing this to brag; you are doing it for YOU! Because YOU are WORTH IT and because WW has made this totally DOABLE! * WW gives you a lot of freedom and a LOT of options that make it quite possible to live this lifestyle EVERY DAY. * You know that this philosophy keeps you on the straight and narrow. If you give yourself an excuse to go off plan today, there will ALWAYS be another excuse tomorrow. * SO, there are NO EXCUSES!!! * This is your LIFESTYLE and it is a lifestyle you enjoy and you live it daily. * Hopefully your participation here will not only inspire YOU but will inspire OTHERS too! YES, you CAN

Several excuses are always less convincing than one.

Makes me think of the person hemming and hawing and creating one excuse after another...kind of like someone feeling guilty?

Yup brave New World visionary. Amazing how some folks come up with a whole string of excuses. Sheesh.

And it ends with "it's not my fault".

Cathy, I read your "No Excuses" last week. This is Day 13 since I start WW and one of my coworkers came into my office with a plate of homemade molasses cookies and offered me one. I took it. I fought feelings of guilt, since I haven't had anything like that since I started WW. Then I realized that I could "afford" one with my Weekly Points. But I was SO tempted to get yet another one, making all kinds of justifications to myself. Then I thought of what you wrote: "If you give yourself an excuse to go off plan today, there will ALWAYS be another excuse tomorrow." So I called myself on it and walked away from cookie #2. Thank you! cathygeha
