Another quiet day at home. Hubby made it back from Beirut without incident then napped for awhile. Quiet day. Tomorrow heading north to spend the day with friends. Taking carob pods to factory on the beach and will receive product (carob molasses) in return.
Switching clothes by season - do you guys do that? Do you have another closet or put them into suitcases or? I would keep out some of all in my closet I think. I am lucky enough to have room in my closet for more than what I have and the weather is not that different season to season here. Well, it IS but not like where it snows.
LYNN: I wish that our curtains were not the ones we have now and easily removed and washed ones like I have had in the past. Easiest ones were ones I made that slipped over flat rods. Made those from sheets.
BEVERLY: It sounds like you will be busy traveling soon!
CHERRY: One time I realized I had left my credit card by accident at Penney's. Called when I realized after getting home and they said they had cut it up into pieces - their policy SO had to get a new one. Definitely a good idea to get your son or someone else to deal with the heavy unwieldy hoses! I wondered if there were plants you brought in during winter.
PAM: Breckenridge looks lovely! Do enjoy your time away!

Cathy, I switch my clothes, put them in tubs and put them in the basement. I have a big basement, which is now full of clothes in a million different sizes. Organizing them is one of my first projects when I retire. I will be donating a lot!
It is gloomy today and I had to be out extra early so I could drop DH off at his office as he had an early court date. His car is on the shop and should be ready by today.
Last night we met up with DNephew and had dinner. It was so nice to see him!
Cathy, enjoy your day out.
Bev, I would be so excited for the upcoming trips!
Cherry, so happy you got your garden organized before the frost.
Pam, I hope you are having fun! Are you skiing?
Have a great day, friends!

I used to put off season clothes in the basement, either in plastic tubs or one of those vinyl stand alone closets that I have downstairs. Now since I gained weight, and clothes size, since all this arthritis/prednisone regimen, my clothes fit in the closet and dressers upstairs. I still need to go through a bunch and decide just what I can still fit into and put the rest downstairs. I am determined to be able to closet shop in the (hopefully) near future.
The plants I brought indoors had been planted in pots and left on my deck for the summer. I brought in 3 geraniums, rosemary, oregano, thyme, sage, and parsley. I still have a few things I want to do outside, but nothing that can't be left until spring.
Have a good day, Beaches.

Morning friends,
Actually, I do swap out winter & summer clothes, I store the off-season stuff in my mom's old closet. DH stores his in the closet in his little tv room. We both have a lot of clothes, so this works out well.
Cherry, I have not heard of bringing geraniums in for the winter, do you keep them in their pots all winter? I bring in begonias & jew. That is about it, the rest of the things, I just buy new in the spring.
Have to get moving, class this morning, then a friend & I are going to do a little shopping.
Great day all!
