No Excuses
* This is a daily thread for those who want to live by the philosophy that you CAN be ON PLAN EVERY DAY, whether you are doing SFT or counting points for ALL foods! * You aren't doing this to brag; you are doing it for YOU! Because YOU are WORTH IT and because WW has made this totally DOABLE! * WW gives you a lot of freedom and a LOT of options that make it quite possible to live this lifestyle EVERY DAY. * You know that this philosophy keeps you on the straight and narrow. If you give yourself an excuse to go off plan today, there will ALWAYS be another excuse tomorrow. * SO, there are NO EXCUSES!!! * This is your LIFESTYLE and it is a lifestyle you enjoy and you live it daily. * Hopefully your participation here will not only inspire YOU but will inspire OTHERS too! YES, you CAN

This one kind of reminds me of "None is better than one" and "Just do it". Simple and to the core of the matter.

camikay , wrote: Cathy, I read your "No Excuses" last week. This is Day 13 since I start WW and one of my coworkers came into my office with a plate of homemade molasses cookies and offered me one. I took it. I fought feelings of guilt, since I haven't had anything like that since I started WW. Then I realized that I could "afford" one with my Weekly Points. But I was SO tempted to get yet another one, making all kinds of justifications to myself. Then I thought of what you wrote: "If you give yourself an excuse to go off plan today, there will ALWAYS be another excuse tomorrow." So I called myself on it and walked away from cookie #2. Thank you! How wonderful to hear that a phrase read on this board came in handy to quash an excuse and help you achieve a step toward you goal. I applaud you for doing the mental work to realize so many thing over cookies at work. I am trying to assemble quotes on excuses to post so am glad that the one you read did help Hope to see your posts here or other places on the boards soon!

A mea culpa of sorts. No excuses. Hey, that sounds familiar.
