Here are the last 3 of the diet blunders:
8. Are there saboteurs in your house? Are you being held back by your friends or family? It may be uncomfortable to address these issues as family members or friends may not want you to change so think about talking through your plans with them.
9. Is your routine holding you back? Do you pass Starbucks every day and canβt resist their carrot or chocolate fudge cake or latte or mocha? If you were to take another route to work would that help you curb your habit of nipping in to buy something for that mid-morning snack?
10. Planning This is often where successfully slim people do well; they plan their meals and write their shopping list accordingly each week.
Thoughts ?

If there are any saboteurs in my house it is me, since I live alone. I don't plan a specific menu for the week, but if I have a specific dish in mind I will shop accordingly. Other than that my shopping is general.
These 10 tips are all worthy of consideration and it would do well for us to check them out to make sure we are not inadvertently making some of those blunders.

Great tips, I think I have made every blunder there is to make. I am my own worst enemy.
Gotta run, think I am supposed to take over tomorrow.

Cherry, I live alone also so if there is sabotaging going on, I am doing it to myself ! Buying those chips or cookies is all on me.
When I drive home at night, I drive right past several fast food restaurants. It was so easy to just be in that lane and turn right into one of them for something to "tide me over" until dinner. Luckily for me, the city made that lane a turn only lane and it turns in such a way that I no longer drive in it, so don't stop anymore.

8. Are there saboteurs in your house? Are you being held back by your friends or family? It may be uncomfortable to address these issues as family members or friends may not want you to change so think about talking through your plans with them. Not really...as some have said already...I sabotage myself.
9. Is your routine holding you back? Do you pass Starbucks every day and canβt resist their carrot or chocolate fudge cake or latte or mocha? If you were to take another route to work would that help you curb your habit of nipping in to buy something for that mid-morning snack? Probably. I know what I should be doing but am currently not choosing to do what I know will make me lighter on my feet and more bendy in the middle. Need to get the journal back out and write down what I am eating and start exercising again...
10. Planning-This is often where successfully slim people do well; they plan their meals and write their shopping list accordingly each week. I don't plan and sometimes think I should...maybe when I get the journal out I will do that and write food in pencil then check it off as eaten.

Quick check in. Thanks for the tips this week Jan. Hope all of you are safe from the effects of Hurricane Michael. All is good here in our hotel room. No chocolate or sweets made it up the hill with us. Yay! Have a great day everyone.

8. Are there saboteurs in your house? I'm lucky that DH is on-board with healthful foods, so I don't have any issues with an saboteurs.
9. Routine? My main issue is not a place like a coffee shop, but it is a time of day. That's why I'm working harder to make good choices when I get home from work. (yogurt with fruit today - but I admit, not SF legal, as it's yogurt with the fruit already in it)
10. Planning? Love to plan, I can't imagine not having good food choices on hand (and very thankful for the ability and means to do that). But, I don't plan exactly what I'll eat, simply know that I've got healthful choices on hand, and choose as needed.
