I received an email from my credit card co. but my name was not on the email and neither was there any credit card number on it. Said they had noticed an unusual activity on it and they had deactivated my account. click here to sign in to my account to reactivate!! I called the number on back of my card and talked to customer service and Yep it is a scam and delete it. No problem with my account, and one I had not used for awhile. So do beware of email like this one. Credit card company will use your name on the account and also your credit card number but to be safe just call the number on back of your account. Was glad I had remembered this tip.

I get those every once in a while. Check who sent the e-mail. It is usually a personal e-mail address such as SuzieQ@hotmail.com. I got two recently for accounts at banks that I don't even have When I checked the sender, both of them came from the same e-mail address.

Actually it was from Chase Fraud Dept. but the customer service said they DON"T send email like that. So do beware, it looked official. Not a phone call, An email.
