TOOT, TOOOOT! CHUG, CHUG, CHUG! Here comes the Train to Thinsville down the track and into your station so hop on board and enjoy the ride.
This morning it was 39º and going up to 63º and partly cloudy with winds SSW 10 to 20 mph.
As far as I know there are no special plans for today, so I’ll just wait and see what comes up.
Yesterday Sarah had a day off and she has two more Monday and Tuesday. I don’t know what the reason is for the holidays.
Last night we had our Friday family movie night and the choice of movie was Sleeping Beauty. Before the movie we all enjoyed fixing our own loaded baked potatoes for supper.

Good morning!
I have had a very busy few days, and today will be busy, too. DH's brother flew in from N.C. Thursday evening, but his bag didn't make it. He stayed with us that night, and we picked his bag up Friday morning early and drove him down to meet their older sister, who had driven north to pick him up. After a short visit with her, DH and I drove home yesterday afternoon. Then yesterday evening was DGS2's birthday dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. We are both beat ! Today, we'll drive to OKC (2 and a half hours) to meet everyone at a cafe for our annual family reunion. Then we'll drive DBIL home with us, where he will stay till we take him to the airport Monday at noon. As I said, BUSY!
The weather has turned really cool. Our high will be in the low 60s for the next few days, with lows in the 40s. Time to get the furnace okayed for the year!
Doris, I'm glad your life has settled down to close to normal! Sleeping Beauty sounds like a good choice. And I love a loaded baked potato!
Have a happy day! Diane

Good morning Doris & ATF,
Rain hear this morning. Woke up to a temperature of 47; the high will be 58.
Went to WW this morning, lost 1.4# this week and earned lots of points. I don't totally understand the points earned but I can turn them in for items. I have to study this part of the program. After weeks of substitute leaders we now have a permanent coach/leader. I'll give her a few weeks before I decide how good she is. This was her first week as a coach.
No plans for today other than 5pm mass.
Have a great day everyone!

Diane,
I sounds like you have had some busy days and still have more to come. Dinner at one of your favorite restaurants for DGS2's birthday sounds like fun.
Your weather sounds a lot like ours - nice fall weather.

Emily,
Congratulations on a good loss of 1.4 pounds this week. I'm sure it will take a while to get used to the new program. That seems to happen every year. It should help that you have a permanent leader now.

Phyl,
Congratulations on your 56th anniversary today. Enjoy Outback tonight to celebrate.
I'm sorry WW is giving you trouble on taking off the weight they show from what it really is. I think I'd close my account too if that happened. I haven't attended a meeting in quite a few years and once I got to my goal weight I have been maintaining my weight on my own since then. I know what I need to do. I was never impressed with the prizes either.

Hi!
It's good to see that the sun is still in the sky and not behind the clouds. We are watching Husker football and my sister is here. Drying clothes outside.
The public elementary schools are having fall break this weekend and that is probably what Trinity has too.
I don't go to WW either and know what to do but am maintaining at a weight that is higher than WW recommends but works for me.
The streets are treated for ice I guess they are anticipating ice or snow this weekend. Meanwhile we can enjoy the sun.

Helen,
It turned out to be a beautiful day for a football game and I hope you are enjoying it - a nice day for drying clothes outside too. I suppose everything will smell fresh and nice.
Right now I'm about 10 pounds below the goal weight that was set for me. That was the highest in my weight class. I feel good right now and will try to keep it here I think.
It seems like we can't have two nice days in a row, with ice and snow predicted for tomorrow. I don't know if we'll venture out for church or not. We'll have to wait and see how it looks in the morning.
