Good morning.
This thread is for anyone that has been away from WWs, had a gain, and is recommitting to the program. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. We love to use first names here, so tell us yours when you post.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes it is harder to keep it off and even if we fail, we keep trying, which is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, I count on talking to you guys each day and I am blessed to count you as friends! We welcome old and new friends, please come and join us.

Good morning friends. Wow! What a crazy week it was at work. Actually completely unexpected for this time of year. Generally this is a crazy busy time for the stores and completely dead at the office. It seemed that all the full moon crazies were in high gear. I came here every day, started to post, and then work got in the way. I was completely worn out by the time I got home, so never actually got to post. The weather here is nuts. 26 yesterday but today it's supposed to get up to 65, with rain all weekend. I guess warm precipitation is better than frozen precip, right? Not too much going on today. Breakfast, errands, and then home to my barricade myself in and shut out the world for the rest of the weekend. After this past week I'm really looking forward to it. Susie - so glad DH got to go to is office party. I know he must have been so happy, and I'm sure his co-workers were thrilled to see him as well. Robin - I hope DH is doing well after his surgery. Amanda - enjoy your weekend and safe travels to you. Andi - I think it's probably been a couple of years since I saw a picture of myself that I liked. Hence the old, rehashed profile pic for me once again. Ha! Maybe we're just too hard on ourselves. Next time you're with one of the grand babies, just have someone keep taking pics until you get one you like Or just be like me and use an old pic. I'm trying to grow my hair out from the pixie, and it's at that awful in-between stage where I can do nothing with it. I'm a big ol' mess right now & praying for fast hair growth. Jana - my eating leaves A LOT to be desired. I'm hoping to get focused this weekend. Hang in there. We can get back to our committed and healthy habits! Janet - I hope you have a relaxing weekend and that your weather doesn't get too bad. Hoping for favorable weather for everyone actually. I think I'm going to refill my coffee and get a nice hot shower. I'll BBL

Hi Everyone, Since it's supposed to be sleeting until later this morning I am not going to the gym for aqua zumba which could be cancelled anyway possibly. I have stuff like vacuuming and organizing that I started before but haven't really never finished. All fun, not! Which means either later on or tommorow I will have to try to do some of it. Its supposed to turn to rain later so maybe then I will venture over to the library at least to work on finishing my plan and them get over to the dollar store nearby. I'd rather try to get the lesson plan out of the way so I can get over to the gym tommorow. I might shop for my friend tommorow if the weather is ok since I may want to get some salmon. Susie, glad that your husband has made significant progress in his physical therapy and that he enjoyed his visit to see his coworkers. That's really about it. Bbl.

Good Morning ROs...not much going on here. Parts of the area got sleet and there were 40 accidents reported. Somehow we missed the bad weather and got nothing. Every time I awakened last night (often for me), I checked outside and saw nothing. DBIL MAY come today, but he said there were numerous roads totally closed in MD so I doubt it. DSister is supposed to be on her way to MD so I hope she does not hit any ice. DH wants to get to the gym so we will do that soon. I am also going to work on Christmas cards today and maybe try to get a couple of presents or at least wrap some. I am doing terrible terrible with my eating! I just keep going up and up...will not go to WW today. I know that is REALLY bad,,,this is exactly when I SHOULD be going!
Andi - I used a pic of me and a friend and cropped her out - ha! Maybe you can try that rather than trying to take a selfie.
Lora - hope you get to totally relax this weekend and have a much easier week next week!
Janet - you can get plenty of exercise through cleaning. Try to get to the library if you can...you will feel much better having those lessons prepared.

Good morning ROs. Thanks for the pix ideas. I'll get to that over the weekend although won't be seeing any DGK's.
I'm completely snowed in, didn't go to my WW meeting and am not sure if there even was one. I couldn't find anything online one way or another. The plow guys have been here since 4 AM making a huge racket, plow sounds, beeping as they backed up, bright lights, and I still can't get out of my driveway. It should turn to rain soon so hopefully I won't be imprisoned the entire day. I do need to get to the gym for once.
Lora, hope you get some down time today. Sounds like you had a crazy week. Maybe next week, the week before Christmas, things will calm down?
Susie, I feel your pain about eating. My weight was back up yet again the 5 lbs I just took off. I think even my scale is getting whiplash... Good for you for getting to the gym with DH.
Janet, hope you get your library trip in.
If the snow stops, I'd like to go to the gym and the supermarket too. Guess I should do my meal planning now so I'm ready to go. Am going to make Anne's chili for dinner tonight with some ground turkey I have in the freezer. Not a very exciting day...
Will bbl.

Susie, I had no idea that's what your DH did. I am sure I have mentioned it here, but I am a mortgage loan officer, so know the ops staff jobs very well. I work for a mortgage banking company, and the best part is the great relationship we have with all our ops staff. What exactly does he do? Seeing as most mortgage companies have gone paperless, setting him up to work from home would probably work, and they can route calls to a landline I am sure. At one point one of my companies did brokered loans with Suntrust, but we don't any more. We are correspondent lenders, which I am sure DH has a better understanding of that you might. Hope you have a good day, and probably a good idea for DBIL to stay off the roads in this mess.
Lora, I am sure that 26 degrees with rain was torture for the drivers. Hope you find some good things to do today. If I remember correctly, college football, other than bowl games, is over by now, that's why the pro teams play tonight. The Jets have a home game tonight, which we are not going to but my younger DS is supposed to.
Andie, that's how I am with speaking, a small group, I'm fine, but put me in front of a microphone, forget it. I can barely get the words out.
DH is doing fine, except that he just spilled water all over the den floor because he wouldn't wait the 10 seconds it would take for me to finish something and come down to do it. He has a machine that pumps ice water through something on his shoulder, and of course everything melted overnight and he needed it refilled. He did have rotator cuff surgery, although I know that it ended up that the Dr said that the bicep was cut. He had shoulder surgery many years ago that caused a lot of scar tissue, and then he had bone spurs, which they said acted like saws to eventually cut through the tendons. He has had various surgeries before, including the other shoulder, his knee replaced, and had a plate in when the front of his pelvis cracked open in a Jet Ski accident. That's another story in itself. I think the only reason he isn't complaining is that he was expecting this to be so much worse, and it's not. Also, this is his right shoulder, and he is left handed. He has to wear a special sling, which is the worst part.
We have switched over to rain here, and it supposed to stop soon and warm up, but it is certainly a mess out there. I think I will just stay home, do some cleaning and straightening, which I have already done, and read. I have 3 books going right now, I need different types of books for different times of the day.

Hi. I did finally go out and get to the library and finish my plan. I also got to the dollar store and get most of what I wanted but it was crowded and I was getting hot so just wanted to get out owhaye f there. I wore too many layers in there. Usually I take my outer coat off. Other then that I didn't do that much and none of the other stuff I said I might try to do. Oh welfl, it will still be there. I kind of doubt my friend will be doing her event tommorow. The snow was supposed to be washed away by the rain but it never really rained after the sleet. It's supposed to go up to 60 tommorow but then drop back down into the high 20's so whatever doesn't melt will probably refreeze. Since her knee is still bothering her she probably won't do it. I could really go either way so if she doesn't it is fine too. I might have gone to do something but it's still pretty expensive and I don't really see that it would be worth the extra cost. If I don't go, I may go food shopping for my friend. Exciting, right? Yawn!! Oh well!

Robin - DH has done just about everything in the mortgage business. He made loans, managed an office, worked for many different companies, etc. The last few years he has been a team lead and works on Pend Resolutions. When we first moved to VA, he was a VP and worked with Savings and Loans. When his position was eliminated, he switched to the mortgage side of the bank he worked for at the time. Oh, he said SunTrust does correspondent lending also.
