Becky, how's your knee? It's another Tuesday which means still be busy at the office. Hope I have though energy to walk with my best friend afterwards. She travels a lot, so I love to be with her when she is in town. Leftover chili cornbread bake for dinner! Hall Tuesday!

Happy Tuesday!
It's 60 degrees here and thunder and lightening going on outside my office window! AND the temp is supposed to drop tomorrow and we have a chance of snow! Gosh I love Indiana!! OH! and I'm wearing my flip flops today!
Running the MIL this afternoon! She will be done with radiation next Tuesday! That will be her 35th treatment and that's what her treatment plan is! Her RO was very happy with her progress so far. She now is pretty much just on liquids and has to use her feeding tube, but it should only last for a few more weeks until everything in her throat heals. I will give the woman credit, she has kept a very positive attitude during this whole thing and I believe that has helped her. Not to mention all the positive vibes and prayers everyone has sent her way!!
I hope you all have a great day!

lmenglish,Thanks for asking. The injection site doesn't hurt but the knee is still hurting and I know I can't expect immediate results.Where did you get the recipe for the chili cornbread bake?It sounds great even though we are expecting record high temps the next 2 days.Hope work isn't too busy today. neen,I'm so glad MIL's last treatment is next Tuesday.I'm sure not as happy as you and she is.It must be hard on her with the feeding tube and only liquids but it sounds like she has a great attitude and that's 99% of the battle.

Good morning all! I keep promising myself I will NOT turn on the A/C in February but it's supposed to be 87 degrees today! Yikes, I'm not ready for summer. neen Glad to hear how positive your MIL is doing. Hopefully her throat continues to heal. @beckyw2016 I'm sorry your dr. visit wasn't as positive for you. I hope the injection will give you some relief. lmenglish Is your left chili cornbread bake the skinnytaste recipe we saw last week? That recipe looked good. No big plans for this Tuesday. Our local Randalls grocery store is closing and everything is on sale so I'm going to check out some things. 40% off all wines is a big incentive. ***burp***

Good morning...just back from a walk with Leia, the snow/ice seems to be delayed and I thought I better hop to. neen that is really wonderful news, and will pray that a good outcome is on the way. Need to make the most of a quiet morning (hurrah!) before I have to head out into *whatever* for acupuncture. The scale is in good shape and after feeling I was fighting it most of January, that is a relief. Have a good one!

Good morning all. Sitting at the airport waiting for my flight to be called. I'm charging my phone at the same time. Don't know if I will be checking in while I am gone

Good morning. We got about 2-3 inches of snow yesterday and last night so it is all white and pretty out this morning. It will mean a bit of shoveling though, my walk is snow covered and has a small drift across it. The snow seems light enough that I shouldn't have any trouble getting out with my car, but I cant' see what it is like at the end of the drive. Since I don't have to go anywhere I'm not going to worry much about it. However my son is here and he will have to get out a little later.
It is cold this morning, 15 below, with a predicted high of 2. Tomorrow will be equally as cold. Then Thursday it should start warming up into the 20's. Still not very warm, but better than now.
Not much on my schedule today, just some things around the house, maybe bake a loaf of bread. Also I'm going to order my garden seeds, as next month it will be time to start a few in the house.

neen, my weather is the opposite of yours - snowing right now but might hit 60 tomorrow. susiq25679, have a great trip! Today's just a regular work day except for the Patriots parade happening later. The train was absolutely packed this morning and the crowds were already starting to form near my work. The Starbucks I usually stop at on my way to work was so crowded I didn't even stop. A lot of kids are skipping school today, that's for sure! I hope everyone has a good day!

Good morning, all. Glad you’re all surviving the strange weather. It’s raining here—all week. Some of you have snow, others sunshine. linda72, I’m a San Francisco boy—where 70° is a heatwave…AND I live in Silicon Valley which sometimes feels like Death Valley. So I have no hesitation running the A/C at any time fo the year! neen, glad your MIL has made it through her treatment and the end is in sight. I had a strange thought pop into my head this morning. I’m a 50s baby and a child of the Wonder Bread generation. I know so many who are younger than myself who are “gluten sensitive” and can’t eat foods with gluten or they suffer consequences. So this morning my brain connected the two and said, “Hmmm…did Wonder Bread protect several generations from gluten sensitivity?” Weird, right? LOL My morning agenda: breakfast, volunteer work. In the late afternoon I have Comcast coming to check out my line and determine why I so often have Internet outages and pixelated TV signals. I’m still waiting to hear back from the company that is to install my new appliances. They called on Friday, had ONE appointment ready to offer me (which didn’t work for me), then said they’d have to check and would call back in a day or two. Is that weird or what? ONE appointmemt available; takes TWO days (or longer) to figure out a schedule? If I don’t hear from them by early afternoon I’ll call the appliance company and ask them to send it to a different, more flexible installer—they refer to contract installers rather than having their own department. Wishing you all a great day.
