I really need to start checking another site. I have been using www.nationaldaycalendar.com/february/ but for today it only showed Boy Scouts Day and Go Fly a Kite Day, and since I didn't want to tell you guys to "go fly a kite" I didn't post. I just saw on my FB feed that it is Potato Lovers Day! POTATOES PEOPLE!! You know all things good in life? Twice baked, stuffed, loaded, fried, hash, salad. I could go on all day! My favorite way is Potato Skins which I was first introduced to at TGIF's way before the internet was around, ha! So tell us how you like them...

I like mine roasted or french fried! I'll take them virtually any way though. But mashed is not my favourite. We had mashed potatoes for dinner almost every night when I was a kid. If I never eat another mashed potato in my life, I won't be disappointed.

I thought it was Fettuccine Alfredo day. Was I a day behind???
But thankfully I put a potato in the sous vide bath just 30 minute ago with seasonings, milk and butter for mashed potatoes with dinner. Accompanied by a filet mignon cooked sous vide and frozen green peas with butter.
